Pintu Badatiya –
While the product itself seems to be of good quality, my overall experience was significantly impacted by the poor installation service. The technicians assigned for the installation were not adequately equipped — essential tools such as a proper copper pipe bending tool and wall drill bit were missing. As a result, the copper piping was bent manually by hand, leading to visible deformities and subpar fitting quality.
Additionally, the outdoor unit (OU) tends to become noticeably noisy when the AC is run in turbo mode, which further affects the user experience. Given the importance of both product performance and installation quality in such appliances, I find it difficult to recommend this AC.
I would strongly urge the brand to improve its installation services and ensure that technicians are better trained and properly equipped. Until then, I would advise potential buyers to consider this factor seriously before making a purchase.
And pls if possible schedule reinstall for the Same.

Poor Support from the installation team, they don’t pick up call, they don’t care at the end of the day, they will promise 1-2 days installations, but honestly be ready for 7 days, because they don’t care about your timeline, and they mediocrely waste your time giving false promise, the AC is fine, no issues so far, installation was smooth when the people came, they charge 1500 + 1600 for the overall additional costs.

After a month of use I am writing this review. AC is doing good. But all the time I used the AC along with fan, so comfort is good. If we use without fan, then some issues on cooling may come.

5 years warranty included in sales price is a worth initiative taken by Godrej. Convertible modes are perfect example of using 1.5 ton AC as per our convenience and minimizing electricity bills.

Just a suggestion that ask your installation team members to be polite and cooperate with customers. I feel they are little arrogant and have their on price chart.

Reviewing product after 3 days. Firstly, the delivery was prompt i.e ordered product on 26 June & delivered on 28 June. The delivery personnel were polite & packaging appropriate. Secondly, installation by Godrej service was also prompt & professional & the product was installed the very same day on 28 June. Third, after use for three days the AC seems to be performing well. Both indoor & outdoor units look sturdy & good. The cooling is quick & effective, despite the fact the room size is 266 sq ft, though the walls & roof of the house are thick, hence insulated. Feature wise the AC is good and value for money.

I’ve been using the Godrej 1.5 Ton 5-in-1 Convertible Inverter Split AC for the past 6 months, and overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the performance.
Cooling Performance:
It cools my medium-sized bedroom (approx. 150 sq. ft.) quite efficiently. Even during peak summer when temperatures hit 40°C+, the AC holds up well. The 5-in-1 convertible mode has been a real energy-saver—I usually run it on the 60% or 80% mode, and that’s enough for daily use.
Energy Efficiency:
My electricity bill hasn’t seen a drastic rise, which was my biggest concern before purchase. With moderate use (around 6-8 hours a day), the energy consumption has been reasonable.
Noise Levels:
The indoor unit is relatively quiet. There’s a soft hum at higher fan speeds, but nothing disturbing. The outdoor unit is solid and doesn’t rattle.
Build Quality & Features:
The build quality feels sturdy, and the anti-corrosion coating seems to be holding up fine. The remote is user-friendly, though their is no backlight in remote but it is not an big issue for me.

This isn’t just a bad product — it’s an insult.
I ordered a Godrej AC from Amazon, and it arrived DEFECTIVE straight out of the box. That was over a month ago. Since then, I’ve been trapped in a nightmare of cancelled service requests, empty promises, and total apathy.
NOT A SINGLE PERSON has come to fix or replace it. Every service request I raise gets automatically cancelled without any visit, follow-up, or explanation.
It gets worse: Milind, the so-called delivery manager, stopped picking up calls altogether. And others like Shailendra have the audacity to speak rudely, and even cut the call abruptly the moment we start speaking to them in the same tone they use with us. That’s the level of “customer care” Godrej offers — rude, dismissive, and completely unaccountable.
This has been a month of frustration, heat, wasted money, and zero support. I’ve never seen a brand this shamelessly negligent. Godrej clearly doesn’t care once the product is sold. I honestly can’t believe Amazon is allowing this level of post-sale abuse on their platform.
If you’re even remotely thinking about buying a Godrej AC — DON’T. This will be the most regretful decision you ever make.
Negative stars wouldn’t be enough.
