i have used it for 2 months now. My hair was more salt than pepper before. now its mostly pepper. Smells great too.

My hair has become so soft ever since I started using it – works best with the conditioner.

I tired this to to clarify my hair based on a friends recommendation. She raved about it, so I gave it a whirl. So glad I did! My hair is so clean and STAYS clean. Great if you are training your hair to not be washed everyday. I use this every other time I wash my hair. Love it!

There’s nothing to write home about. Just another hair cleanser.

I tried it once by diluting a small quantity of this shampoo …it was frizzy and not easy to manage untill I re washed it again with my regular shampoo.Combing the hair was difficult post washing the hair with this shampoo. The product does not live up to the expectations. To get a benefit of chemical free shampoo it is not possible to put so much effort managing rough and dry hairs post washing all the time

I ordered the Forest Essentials Hair Cleanser and Oil (50 ml each), and unfortunately, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with haircare products.
Right from the start, I was skeptical about the authenticity—the packaging was very poor, and there were no seals on either of the bottles. For a premium brand like Forest Essentials, I expected properly sealed and securely packaged items. This immediately raised doubts about whether I received original products or tampered ones.
After using them, things only got worse. I started experiencing tremendous hair fall, far more than usual. To make matters worse, I developed severe dandruff and itching, which I never had before. These products were supposed to improve hair health, but they ended up damaging mine.
This has left me extremely disappointed and concerned. Either the product was fake, or something was seriously wrong with the batch I received. I will definitely not repurchase and would caution others to check packaging and authenticity carefully before use.

Forest essential shampoos rated in order of cleansing strength:
Bhringaraj & Shikakai (mild) < Jalapatti & Brahmi < Amla, Honey & Mulethi (harsh)
If you use more viscous hair oils buy either Amla or Jalapatti shampoo.
If you use light hair oils buy Bhringaraj or Jalapatti shampoo.
I was utterly confused between all the variants even after reading multiple reviews so ended up purchasing 50ml of all three together. Now I use these on rotational basis.
Tested all of them coupled with Kama ayurveda Bhringraj oil and all three of them were able to get rid of oil in 2 washes ( even the mildest variant). Though Amla ended up drying my hairs.
Hairfall: Normal hairfall…did not notice shampoo induced hairfall. If you have shampoo induced hairfall this brand may come to rescue but like any other shampoo it wont do miracles. My scalp itches severely with any chemical laden shampoo…luckily all three variants did not cause this issue.
Is it overpriced? Yes, it is. For that matter all forest essentials products are.
Still confused? Maybe buy all three in 50ml…either you will love them or save yourself from committing to a bigger bottle.
As for me…I find them above average and as long as they dont itch my scalp will continue investing.

I am an admirer of the forest essentials face products, and thought of trying their shampoo’s.
Underwhelmed by the product – Great cleanser – but does nothing to smoothen the texture or make the hair look/ feel better after use.
Not worth the amount.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is the long wait for the delivery. Otherwise the package was great and I love the product

I have had a hairfall problem for 2-3 years now especially during the rainy season. But then I went on to buy this product and have been using it for 1.5 months and it has given me superb results. I dont find any hair on my pillow, combs and even towels. There is a visible change in hair thickness as well. The only downside is that it hasn’t done too much for dandruff and has made the scalp a little dry. I would suggest this to anyone who has a hairfall problem. Top product.

Great Shampoo, we need more companies like this that sell healthy products without all the unnecessary toxic chemicals.
