I am writing this review after 8 months of purchase. The gimbal is fine overall but it does not work properly with iPhones. I faced alignment issues on the very first date of purchase but realised way later that it works fine with android but have alignment issues with iPhones. I was sad as thia was my very first gimbal and it took me so long to realise that either that it has horizontal alignment issues on iphone landscape mode.
There are no service centre in India so warranty is useless

Build quality is great. Controls are good too. Handling on the other hand is not as much as I expected it to be. There’s not much freedom in the rotations. The modes are okay and may need more time and practice. Overall, it is a great product at this price range.

Ich nutze den DJI Osmo Mobile SE nun seit einiger Zeit und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Der Gimbal wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt angenehm in der Hand. Trotz der stabilen Bauweise ist er leicht und kompakt genug, um ihn überallhin mitzunehmen. Ideal also für Reisen, Vlogs oder auch einfach spontane Aufnahmen unterwegs.
Die 3-Achsen-Stabilisierung funktioniert richtig gut – das Bild bleibt auch bei Bewegung ruhig und professionell. Besonders praktisch ist die einfache Bedienung. Alles ist logisch aufgebaut, und auch wenn man noch keine Erfahrung mit Gimbals hat, kommt man sehr schnell zurecht.
Ein echtes Highlight ist für mich die DJI Mimo App. Die Einrichtung geht schnell, die Verbindung mit dem Smartphone klappt zuverlässig, und die App bietet viele hilfreiche Funktionen. ShotGuides, ActiveTrack 6.0 und die Steuerungsmöglichkeiten direkt über das Display machen das Ganze extrem vielseitig. Die App ist stabil, übersichtlich und macht die Nutzung noch einfacher und angenehmer.
Insgesamt ein sehr durchdachtes Produkt. Die Kombination aus guter Hardware und starker Software überzeugt. Wer auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen Smartphone-Gimbal ist, macht mit diesem Modell meiner Meinung nach nichts falsch. Klare Empfehlung.

Sometimes it irritates.
Sometimes I find using phone directly is quite easier and can use in any direction.
Besides this, to use it’s feature, we need to use it’s app camera and cannot use the default phone camera.
It has good templates too to create cool short videos. Active tracking is okay.
Well, if your motive is to create short reels or want to be very creative with it, then it is good. If you shoot someone else’s normal videos for youtube then you do not need it because it will ultimately irritate you and it is quite easier to use mobile in hand instead hanging it on gimble. If you are making your own video by front camera or even back camera and if you are alone, then it can be proved useful for you because it can track you, you can keep moving and it will follow you. It is also good if you want it to focus on one thing and you can use it as tripod.
But it depends upon you basically. If you become expert in using it, it can be a great tool for you.
