I love testing new stylus pens that are compatible with Apple products. This one in particular is easy to set up and use.
Pros: The body of the stylus itself feels good in your hand because of the weight distribution. It connected easily to my iPad using Bluetooth and there was no lag time.
The box included the charging cable, and three extra nibs and tactile tips (ends?) which is good for travel extras.
The stylus is magnetic so you won’t lose it.
Tactile tip is great for devices that may not connect to Bluetooth or if you want to save power. I like the combination because I do indeed sometimes wish I had a stylus for my iPhone. This kinda fills that need.
Cons: I wish it came in different colors! Also, as with most non-Apple stylus pens the little rubber cover for the charging port is easy to lose, but that isn’t a deal breaker.

The DIGIROOT Upgrade iPad Pencil is an impressive and affordable. Design is great and offers a comfortable grip and precise control. The pressure sensitivity and tilt function work smoothly. Battery life is reliable, lasting for hours and pencil charges quickly. Overall provide a great value.

This is my second Digiroot pen. The first one was really excellent so when i needed a replacement I went right back to the same manufacturer because there are a lot to choose from on Amazon and the reviews are kinda all over the place. But I knew my Digiroot pen was really very good so that part was easy.
And Digiroot now has a pen with both types of tips! That’s genius! I don’t need to get fingerprints all over my touchscreen now, i just flip the pen over and use the other tip. I love it!
It has the same long battery life, the same quick recharge, the same excellent accuracy when i am drawing, and, I assume, the same durability.
My first Digiroot pen worked perfectly through a lot of use (and abuse – it got dropped onto a concrete floor much too often) for over a year but i finally dropped it just perfectly onto the on/off button so it would no longer turn on. I really feel the need for a replacement was 100% my fault and my first pen was so good and so reliable despite getting dropped much too much. I fully expect the same from this second pen (and hope to drop it less….)

I received the pencil on 28/02/2025 and in the first impression it felt good in hand. The weight of the pencil is just perfect. The product I received had some very minor scratches on its surface. Maybe it’s returned by someone. It got paired with my iPad 10th gen without any issue. Just press its power button and you’re good to go. No hassle. Initially when i stated using it, it was ocassionally missing slightly while writing. I got a little worried but then I got to know that it’s just due to it had low battery and then I charged it. Now, it working perfectly fine. The tip is great and smooth.
The magnetic tip at the other end is its strong point and this is the reason why i ordered it. You can read newspaper, scroll texts and all with that magnetic tip at the end and it feels very good. Palm rejection is working perfectly. The magnet is commendable that it get attached to my iPad’s cover very strongly. Overally it’s a good product in my opinion. I’ll update my experience with this product after using it for some more months. Thanks.

It’s rare that I fall in love with a product right out of the box, but it happened with this combo e-Pencil/stylus!
It’s slighter shorter and thicker than the majority of knock off Apple pencils, which is what I needed for comfort.
It is a combo device which is just genius! I can use the pencil for compatible devices (my iPad) and then turn it around and use it as a rubber stylus for ANY touch screen device! AND it comes with 3 extra tips each for both ends.
It doesn’t charge wirelessly, but fully charges in 13-15 mins and comes with an insert cover for the USB C charging port, and of course the charging cable. I’m totally okay with this because I’ve read several reviews indicating that the wireless charging variety drains the battery on the iPad.
And that’s not all…it turns itself off if not used for 15 mins to preserve battery. It has an on/off button and the indicator lights for battery life remaining, no surprise battery drains, which I also love because it does not have Bluetooth functionality. (Another battery drain for iPad).
It’s slightly heavier (very slight) than the longer/skinnier pencils, feels more comfortable and secure from drops in my hand.
Lastly, if you register you get a 12 month warranty and lifetime support!
Love is not too strong a word and like I said, rare right out of the box. 👏🏻💕

1. Great palm rejection
2. Slick design
3. Pretty Strong magnetic attachment
4. Grip is also good although I tend to get sweaty hands so it gets kinda slippery but not an issue
5. Very smooth with no noticeable lag
6. I don’t see any reason you shouldn’t prefer this over Apple Pencil if u are here for general use.

CONS:
1. Lacks pressure sensitivity, so if you’re an artist u need to buy Apple Pencil else, it’s a perfect replacement for Apple Pencil for those without artistic purposes.

After using for 21 days and on , I can say that this is just perfect and a value for money product. It does the 90% job (for me). No nonsense. It is a fine product.
Pros:
1. Tilt sensitivity works fine.
2. Palm rejection works fine.
3. Writing accuracy 80%
4. Nominal writting speed with zero lag
5. Back stylus works 70% of the time.
6. Universal size (I can say as it fits in case properly as you can see)
7. Metal body so durability is good without doubt.
8. Easy to use ( just switch on and it’s ready to use)
9. 13 min fast charging is actually true.
Only cons:
1.Magnet is not good.
2.No pressure sensitivity,
3.no hover feature,
4.no barrel roll.
5.It won’t serve for professional drawing purpose.
6. No magnetic charging.
My verdict: Go for it if you are looking for one of the cheapest value for money option. This one is good.

Good price, works well and now almost 6 months later it still works fine. To be fair I don’t draw as much as I thought I would but the charge holds well and I mainly use the black nib on the back. Plus I love having extra pen nibs in the box. Also glad there’s no lag in the writing speed.

I’m really impressed with the Digiroot Stylus. The tilt functionality makes writing feel more natural, almost like using a real pen, especially when adjusting angles during quick note sessions. Its responsiveness is excellent — there’s virtually no lag, and every stroke registers cleanly, even with fast writing.
I also appreciate the rubber tip, which gives me better control on the screen and helps prevent accidental touches. It’s smooth, quiet, and perfect for long writing sessions. Overall, it’s a great stylus.
Weight is good, gives premium feeling holding the stylus
