The media could not be loaded.
The quality is decent.
The product was slightly defective. When you play it in full snare then there is one spring which is loose and make additional noise which is pretty significant that anybody will notice.
But if I play it in half snare then it works fine. I decided not to exchange it. I don’t know why.
Nonetheless, this is my first time playing Cajon, and overall I’d say it is easy to play. Good for beginners++
P.S. – Your friends might make fun of you and will ask you to play “Shirdi waale Sai baba” on train to earn some extra bucks. Because mine did too. But don’t lose the hope. You’ll enjoy it once you play one full song.

It plays great. Has good bass as well as high and snare response. As it is black in colour the oak wood is not clearly seen but one can see the grains. One thing I must say the packing of the product was more than expected. The instrument was packed with such a care that it could endure any kind of extreme handling. Coming to the adjustable snare it works precisely and sounds very good. The only thing that is a little bit different is that except the tapa or the playing surface the rest sides are probably made of mdf board. However one cannot expect all sides solid wood ply in this price point. Overall performance is very good. Just go for it. You’ll not be disappointed. Long live team clapbox……

I requested to all the musical instruments buyers that do not purchase any musical things from amazon. Amazon don’t have quality control and don’t have good delivery service for the instruments. You can get used or damaged product. I faced this multiple times and faced financial loss as well. Amazon said only sorry and get rid from the matter. This is the best brand and best purchase. Thank you so much Clapbox and thank you so much Seller. The Cajon came in very well condition, nicely packaged and packed with no dents and scratches.
The sound is a main factor, the oak wood is good. Sound is soooo good – Highs, mids and lows everything seems balanced.
This sounds better in real than in mobile phones. Bass is good.

I am extremely happy with Clapbox’s product and service. The product looks great and premium. It has a good sound quality. Love the bass and the adjustable snare option. It gives m joy when I sit on it and play. I have already played it in a couple of shows and people loved it. It sounds good with the mic too. After spending months on thinking whether to buy this or not finally I took the decision to buy it and i am enjoying playing it everyday.
It’s amazingly easy to play provided you know basics of rhythm. The drum occupies a very small portion and can be sneaked into any corner. The base notes with snares are superb and even when snare is removed it gives a deep note.
There are small tutorials available online but the drum is a self starter and i could experiment different rhythm patterns. It sounds great with Bollywood thumping party numbers and with EDM.
For amateurs with a flair to play rhythm this is a good first buy to train your hands and ears to music
