I live abroad, have been using a BOSCH dishwasher for 10 years without any issue. I had purchased Voltas Dishwasher for my house in India by carried away by the big name of TATA (how naive I was)
I am writing this review after using this dishwasher for a week. I wish there was an option not to give even a single star. However, unwillingly, I had to give a star to register my review on Amazon. It’s unfair, hope Amazon introduce a 0-star option in future.
Following are PROS and CONES, sadly there
are only CONES 🥺
PROS: None
CONES:
1. Outer painted body is made of very thin steel material, it gets dented easily with even with a small impact. There is a very high chance of getting rusted.
2. Inner basket/tray is made of cheap quality plastic material. The smell/odour of like the burning of plastic after the wash.
3. Basket is very small, not suitable for our Indian households as the utensil cannot be fit in.
4. Hosepipe for water connection is very small in size, it’s hardly 2feet, there are no additional connectors for connecting directly to the angle valve. Spent another Rs. 750 to buy the hose to connect in angle valve.
5. It consumes lots of electricity, for one wash it consumes 3 to 5 units which approx. Rs. 25 to 35 per wash.
6. It’s very noisy, I guess the noise level could be in the range of 90db to 110db which is very annoying if you live in the open kitchen type of apartments/houses.
7. Cleaning of utensils are not up to the mark as the oily/greasy layer still exists even after using the max option which runs the machine for 2 – 3hrs.
8. No installation either from Amazon or Voltas. Tired of calling them, eventually I had to install my own by spending Rs. 850.
9. No customer supports from Voltas, unprofessional bad-mouthed employees. Never attend the calls, you should consider it lucky if they pick your phone after several tries, say min 20 tries continuously.
NB: Don’t buy this product. It’s better to spend Rs. 10K extra to buy tested and trusted products from Bosch, Semmens, LG, Samsung, etc.

This product is worst. Do not get fool.we bought this dishwasher and our PCB board burnt within one year. We callect support people and they took money and didnt replace it. They dont have a dedicated support team. Its a third party support and all of the people in this supprt team are 10th fail who dont know what they are doing. Aorst brand worst people.

The Voltas Beko Dishwasher is a simple to use machine. I am penning this review after using it for about a month. There are no hi-fi digital displays. It is a sort of load it, power it and forget it type of system. The gauge of the body metal looks a bit weak, and it is felt when the upper tray is pushed inside and when it touches the body. it looks a compact unit which is enough for a small family’s daily use. The lower spray arm looks very close to the lower tray and so one should be very careful to choose the dishes and ensure nothing is protruding below the tray. The tray has bigger gaps compared to the upper tray. The upper tray has closely spaced grills and for smaller dishes it is preferable to use compared to the lower tray. The cutlery holder looks slightly taller with an apparent notion that it may touch the upper spray arm. It is suggested that only smaller spoons be put in the cutlery holder. The space for longer ladles is given in the upper tray but looks lesser. One needs to think a bit for the optimal use of the space for accommodating different types of utensils. The door for the detergent compartment needs to be gently pressed down to lock and if done with pressure, there is a risk of damaging it. This is the one part that looks vulnerable for early damage. Loading salt and rinse aid is simple and easy to do. Coming to the operation, I used the standard echo mode all the time. It is supposed to take two hours for the cycle. But the machine keeps showing in “Dry” status beyond the completion of full 2-hours. It takes another hour or so to come to “End” status. If time is not a factor, just load the dishes and power on and forget, the job will be done without any manual intervention. Most importantly, the dish cleaning is very good. May be the extra hour is needed to cool the inside compartment. With a delicate use the machine gives good results. But definitely it is not a rugged or tough machine. With no digital controls, one need to depend on the small LED’s showing the status, it is a very good machine and value for the money (I took it in Amazon Great Indian Festival sale for about Rs 22K). The worst thing was the free installation service, which never happened with the Vcare services agency. Five complaints with Amazon customer care did not yield any solution. Finally, I booked for the free demo, it was explained and unnecessarily, I waited for nearly 20-days for the installation. A simple machine and there is not much to learn the installation can also be done in a DIY fashion if you already used Dishwasher. Amazon customer care finally was ready to pay the installation charges. I did not claim any charges as the free demo was enough to understand the operational matters. Except for this issue, which is nothing to do with the product, the machine is working well.

Product is good one.
Does job better than maid with great cleanliness.
except few items like kadhai and stained milk pot need some initial efforts.( Do not use aluminium, iron and copper items and Avoid low plastic items)
Buy steel cooker, triply kadhai, triply tope for smooth use of dishwasher.
*Ensure removal of food grains/stuff to ensure smooth running of machine before putting in dishwasher.
Cost: 5Star
Cost competative and is value for money with 2 year warranty on product and 5 years in motor.
Higher cost product gives you feature like
Digital display, wifi,delay start and auto opening of door after completion of cycle.( Pay twice for above mentioned features)
Product Service: 3star
As of Now Voltas-beko has offloaded the service to third party. 🙂
Whereas Voltas has it’s own team for cooling products.
Initial experience wasn’t good about product demo and product expertise of vendor.
Note : As long as product is working it’s fine later can’t say about service of product related to warranty and parts.
