I recently purchased the Singer Sewing Machine Model 1412 on Amazon, and I’m very impressed with its performance. Overall, the Singer 1412 is a reliable machine for beginners or casual sewers. It’s not too fancy but does the job well for basic sewing tasks. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable and easy-to-use sewing machine!

Very good product for a beginner to try the designer stitching. Value for money. It’s really fun working with different stitches. At times, the unit requires initial support for starting the stitch and some rigidity is felt. The reverse option leaves some loose threads in the bottom side. This may be overcome with the top thread tension adjustment. As of now all the settings are as per factory set up. Suggest users to take time to acquaint with the speed and synchronisation of hand and pedal. Bobin winding option is very good. Threading is easy. Using a proper table is good to work. Changing pressure foot is very easy. Manual could have included some illustrated tutorials for designer stitching. Nothing is mentioned about the use of double needle. YouTube videos are available for most of the Singer models. Specific to 1412 limited options in these videos. It’s better to undergo a training before seriously trying the various options. Oiling the machine is again missing in the user manual. Good quality item inline with the Singer as a brand.

In my opinion if someone decided to be a designer and work as a designer so he or she have to take professional machines like juki not this this is just a mini example of stiching and embroidery stiches not pro level it will not give you that results what a designer looking for

I have been using the Singer 1412 sewing machine for over a year now, and it has been problematic from the very beginning. The stitches often jump, the thread breaks almost every single time, and the bobbin thread constantly gets tangled inside. Despite trying all recommended solutions and adjustments, the issues persist.
What should ideally be a 10-minute sewing task ends up taking hours due to these repeated problems. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing. For beginners, especially those trying to learn, this machine can completely kill the excitement and interest in sewing. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable or beginner-friendly sewing machine.
