This one is priced reasonably in India. There are entry level machines priced more than twice in India but this one is almost same as that of usa and thus the great value. Plus you are getting premium machine at less cost than entry level machine.
Previously in usa I had singer entry+1 level machine and it is an absolute must for clean sewing. I make my own jeans and pants because just fed up with all tailors doing same crappy styles no matter how much you guide them.
A decent pants stitch makes me look like a millionaire. And that’s worth it. And the jeans puts me into model category.
But fine wool… for jeans you can try your kuch with khadi which is quite comfortable. Mind that you will spend thousands of dollar for handloom jeans in Japan. In India I find khadi quite good though avoid very loose weaves.
For fine wool try Amazon itself or import it. Raymonds is majority polyester and priced almost 50-60 times (5000%+) more than prices in usa for similar clothes. Amazon prices are 1/10 of raymonds… still very expensive compared to usa but far better than Raymond stores.

A nice little serger machine and a great addition to my sewing equipment. Far better than overlocking with a normal zigzag sewing machine. Wish the threading would be a bit easier but I guess all serger machines will have this complication. Highly recommend for sewing enthusiasts. Service provided by seller is very good too.
