After a half dozen uses boiling milk, the lid discolored and the inside appears to have leached metals into the milk.
Not a good buy.
Claimed to be pure aluminum. Should never have bought it. Buy stainless steel instead.

the whistle broke off and we took it to a shop to get it fixed, the repairman commented the product is of low quality. I guess we get what we pay for.

It works as advertised. Its light weight and holds 8 cups with room to spare and is easy to clean.
It does have some room for improvement though. The only reason I would ever boil milk is to cook oats or tapioca. I have cooked both in it and it works but I have to remove the whistle in order to keep cooking after the milk gets boiling hot. There is no easy way to do this but it can be done with tongs. Also I would greatly prefer one long handle to two short handles. The handles do get quite hot.
That having been said I do think this is a awesome product. I have been wanting something like this for a very long time. If they come out with a new improved model I will certainly buy it too.

The product serves the purpose, however the handle isn’t heat protective. Once the milk is being boiled, the pot & the two handles are both hot
