Company should pay attention on usability of product. Heat is not spread equality, therfore chapati are burnt in the middle. Thickness should be more.
I am dissatisfied with this product, and wasted my money.
Only design is good with good handle grip.

Old pan was non stick and causing black powder sticking on rotis and too much smoke not good for health. I was worried about my wife’s health
After using Indus valley seasoned tawa for 2 weeks observed it causes less smoke good heat and easy cleaning.
Price is little high compared to normal iron pans but quality wise good.

Don’t buy, simply waste of money. The product is thin at the center, hence chapati gets burned at the center where as remains uncook at the border. Also chapati becomes hard. Simply don’t buy.

Just about 1.2Kgs. Fitted with a ergonomically shaped wooden handle to make tossing, flipping and swirling of the food easier.
Heats up fast – but also does not retain heat as well as a cast-iron tawa. The tawa thickness is also less when compared with the C.I. versions. I suspect this tawa catches rust sooner than the C.I. models – so ensure it is always coated with a film of oil when not in use.
Dosas came out crisp, thin – no issues here.
Plan to try it out for omelettes, rotis, sauteed veggies.

This is a very thin and bad quality material product .
It was not preseasoned and even after seasoning it the roti would burn from the centre..
Not recommended to purchase!
