Purchased this AC on 10.03.2021 and till today i.e. 29.03.2022, that is well over one year after purchase, it remains unused. It remains unused because a defective piece was delivered to me. Whirlpool’s technicians have come couple of times and were unable to make the AC work! The whirlpool techies on their last visit spent 8 hours at a stretch in my house to try to fix it. That day they informed me that the AC is a defective one and they assured me that a replacement will me made. The techies assurances did not yield any desire results. On repeated enquiries I was assured that the replacement is under process. Tried several times to speak to one Mr. Mohit Sharma who is a whirlpool Manager in South Delhi. He is a a very unresponsive and a very very busy man, who is in a meeting 24/7. Since he never takes my call I sent him Watsapp messages informing about my issues, he assured me that the defective unit will be replaced. One reason after another is given for their inability to replace the AC.
I am still waiting to use this AC which I purchased more than a year ago.
Its been a year of harrowing, frustrating and disappointing experiences with Whirlpool and their not so helpful staff. This is nothing less than mental torture. I will wait for some more days and if they don’t resolve my case I shall approach the consumer court for compensation.
PLEASE DONT BUY THIS USELESS PRODUCT 🙏

Delivery fast but service and installation is poor. Whirlpool should send trained technician . They bargain and are not trained . This is not expected from whirlpool.

Dont ever buy Whirlpool Air Conditioner
I am using this AC since a year. Issue started soon it finished 1 year. Morning the AC was running good but afternnoon it was not cooling and i found compressor was not working and only inside unit blower was running.
I raised a complaint and whirlpool service center examine by and said the gas has leacked completely and it does not come under warranty. They charged 3500 and took6-7 days to fix the issue.
After the repair the performance for the AC is very poor and its not cooling still i am chasing whirlpool service centre but they is no support.

Great product. I am running 2Ton AC in a 400sqft room and it can cool the room in less than 10minutes even at 24C temp setting. Actually this is my 5th Whirlpool Magicool AC. They all work flawlessly.
Their indoor units look nice and modern but they aren’t flashy and fashionable.
But I must warn you that Whirlpool customer support is one of the worst in our country. Thier after sales and service centers are pathetic and whirlpool customer support are clueless and it appears that they have no control over their after sales support agencies.
This product deserves 5 star on it’s own but loses 2 stars becasue it carries Whirlpool logo.

Cooling efficacy is good and the noise is very low as compared to other ACs. Service person came for installation was a nerd and very unprofessional.
