The A/C by carrier is sleek and offers better cooling efficiency. The performance is top notch. Functionality seems to be decent enough for the price. Power consumption is very low and can be viewed in real-time on the display. The remote is a big plus as it has the basic functionality with Night buttons (Power, Temperature control, Mode, Fan speed) as well as backlit display. It also can be hung on the wall with a hook option. However, there are few minor bugs w.r.t Remote and Unit sync at times. We need to ensure we are used to the controls. The lack of ambient LED and Horizontal siwng in this particular model are definite cost cutting disappointments.
My order arrived with a crack on the plastic cover for the pipe connectors however, the technicians fixed it as it was negligible.
Installation happened on my 6th floor flat with professional approach. However, technician reached the sunshade without any rope/protection but experience. So it’s advisable to follow protection protocols for safety. The installation charges were pretty reasonable and not overpriced.
Overall, a decent value-for-money product.

Was delivered as promised – On time. Nothing was damaged or missing in my case. This is my second purchase of an air conditioner from Amazon. The first one had it’s flap broken and therefore returned.
Bought the 5star one with exchange for ~34k. Exchange price was reduced upon inspection by 1500 rs.
Installation was within 24 hours. They called up themselves. Installation was very neat and clean. Extra pipe, rubber footing were additionally required that didn’t come with the product and hence I paid extra for it. Total cost of installation with additional material – approx 4k.
Ac works silently. All features work fine. Haven’t tested the wifi nor will I. The cooling is good so far even when them temps are high. The quality is decent and a I feel it’s a step down from 2018 standards of carrier midea. Cost cutting is obvious in 2025 but then all brands are doing some level of cost cutting.
Great experience so far. Will update post a few months.

Carrier AC Review – After 1 Week
Been using the Carrier 1.5 Ton Inverter Split AC for a week now, and so far, it’s doing a solid job.
Cooling:
Cools the room quickly (within 10–15 mins). Doesn’t need to be set too low – 24°C feels comfortable. Airflow is strong.
Noise:
Quiet indoors, with a soft hum. Outdoor unit is also low-noise. No issues sleeping with it on.
Power Efficiency:
It’s an inverter AC, so it maintains temperature without frequent on-off cycling. Haven’t seen the bill yet, but it feels efficient.
Design & Features:
Simple, clean look. Remote is basic. Sleep mode is useful.
Overall:
Good cooling, quiet, efficient. Nails all the basics. Worth it if you want performance over fancy extras.

Carrier AC and installation is a good choice. I received my installation on the same day as the delivery, in the evening. The delivery time was pretty quick, and I’m glad I went with Carrier.
Two people came to do the installation, and they did a good job with no problems. However, one of the helpers seemed a little arrogant. Otherwise, the installation was done in just three hours. The AC itself is very good. My room is 120 square feet, and the AC keeps it cool enough even when set to 25 degrees.
After having used it for a month, I’d say Carrier made a good air conditioner, and they do excellent installations. I definitely have no complaints.
