Long time whey protein user here. Decided to switch to plant based product from MB for a change. I have heard that they are good but lots of people in the reviews had mentioned that the taste of plant based proteins are off. Was a bit skeptic as well. But because I already like the flavors MB has, decided to give this one a try.
To get straight to the point, it doesn’t taste like whey.
Remember the first time you had whey? How it smelt and tasted, and how you were not sure you’d like it? I had the exact same feeling here. Thing is, you get used to it pretty quickly.
The low down.
1. INTAKE: I had it with water first. It was ok. The taste was something to get used to. The next day, I had it with a banana blended in. Immediately, it tasted better than whey. Mainly because the flavors of the banana and chocolate blended better that with whey. The slight blandness made the flavors of the fruit stand out really well. especially ice cold. I tried it with berries the next day and a spoon of honey. It was wonderful.
2. HOW WELL IT MIXED: The shake was smooth. It needed a bit more effort to blend in a shaker but after that, it was really smooth. It mixed well in the blender with fruits as well. Very little sedimentation and I think the team at MB have done an excellent job here.
3. DIGESTION: It’s still a bit early, but I was happy with the results. No bloating, didn’t feel like something is left in the stomach. Digested well and I felt no gas bubble up. This is excellent.
4. FINAL VERDICT: I was pleasantly surprised by the level of polish this product had. I have heard a lot of people say that unless one is vegan, best avoid plant based protein. I think this product is almost there with Whey. While there is a bit of blandness, I do not think it is as bad as it is made out to be. I love pairing it with fruits and nuts (with a pinch of honey) in a smoothie. it digests well and I results are there to see. I had been without whey for I was mostly doing floor exercises. I recently switched to weights again. I found my recovery to be just as good as I had with whey.
Overall, I am happy I got this.

Have been using whey protein for years now. Whey for me and many others always had a problem of bloating. The degree of bloating/indigestion varies but they are always present with whey protein.
Decided to go a for a change and try plant protein this time. I will be honest, I was quite doubtful about the product before trying it – primarily due to multiple opinions on taste and efficacy of plant protein.
But now that I have tried this product, I will never go back. There is absolutely no bloating or indigestion of any kind ever since I started using this. The taste is definitely different from Whey but the flavour I bought (chocolate) was going really well with the blends that I usually make. So although the taste may be different, it is still really good which surprised me.
The detailed review
1. Mixability : Mixes well, very little to almost negligible balling up. It gave me superb results with no clogs when using a blender. 4.5/5
2. Bloating/Digestion: Absolutely no bloating, and indigestion This is one of the major reasons, I am gonna repurchase.
3. Flavour & Taste – MB’s flavours have always been great and the taste of the product is although different from the usual whey that we use – It is great!
4. Verdict: I was going in with a lot of skepticism and pre conceived notions in my mind. However this product has overcame all of that. For me, this product is at par with the best Whey protein out there in efficacy and the fact that it has no digestion issues associated with it makes it an absolute winner.
However, I will also try other flavours in the upcoming future and update the review.
I will definitely go for a repurchase.

This is my first ever protein powder. I found very few reviews on the important aspects so I will cover them first:
1. Effectiveness – On days when I did not include substanial protein in my meals, I would feel dull. Consuming this certainly has made some difference, but the goal is to use this as a supplement and not replacement… Together with protein in normal diet, this does a very good job. This is a Trustified Certified product which adds to it’s reliability.
HOWEVER, there are protein powders out there with a more complete protein profile. Like rice+pea protein isolate. But Bgreen is more reasonably priced and the product performance is good.
2. Digestion: Neither I nor my father had any digestion issue. This is light and did not cause any bloating
3. Value for money: I bought this after comparing it with the cheaper and similarly priced options, and this stood out, more so on account of the Trustified certificate.
4. Taste: As long as taste is not bad, I can have anything if it’s beneficial…. This is good enough as per my taste..
If money is not a consideration, I would perhaps go for Naturaltein plant protein (my second protein powder) because it has rice+pea protein isolate and is slightly better on other counts as well. Considering all factors including price, I would buy Bgreen if Naturaltein is not available at a discount (this time I bought it with a combo + coupon discount)…

My worst protein powder experience, i am using whey for a very long time used both muscleblaze and ON , but believe me seeing all those reviews from youtube and amazon bought this , dont know about protein content and all but definetly i can say mixability is worst , and taste is worse than ON (i thought ON tastes is worst previously) , i took whey twice daily i thought of replacing whey with plant protein evening , but now i dont know what to do with the package and I never had any issues with digestion or nloating with whey , but with this plant protein actually i felt kind pf uneasiness in stomach
My experience with this is not pleasant
Anyway decided to finish my entire pack and thinking of gng to cosmix
