This is 9 Band world reciver this Radio covering FM, MW, SHORTWAVE BAND’S like 49, 41, 31, 25, 19, 16 and 13 meter in short wave which is covered all upper bands, and FM from 87-108 MHZ, MEDIUM WAVE RANGE is 522-1710 KHZ reception is excellent in all bands this radio has auto scan you can store your favourite channels in memory I will say this radio is excellent in this price range it is totally digital radio this radio has come with headphone and you can listen music in stereo only in FM this is fantastic in this price. But I will say this radio will not directly off, if you off the radio, radio will turn into clock, clock will display time 24 hours, and also use battery. So after use, always battery must take off from radio, to avoid drain of battery.

Beautiful radio extremely clear sound. High fedility can catch all most all fm frequency. Similar technologies used in automotive audio systems. Rds, . I wish if the buttons had back lights. I am now addicted. Listen in night with auto timer mode to sleep and saves battery.
