Auriculares caros que valen lo que cuestan. Solo para amplificadores hifi. Por su impedancia no valen para móviles o tablets. Subgraves potentes que no distorsionan ni apagan unos agudos perfectos. Voces diferenciadas. Sonido contundente y con cuerpo. Los uso con un amplificador Nad y ecualizador Benq realzando 6 dB y no en todas las frecuencias. Suena igual que con los altavoces de tres vías. Eso es lo que se espera de unos auriculares hifi. Por cierto, esta marca es de las pocas que usa terciopelo en las almohadillas, gracias a lo cual escuchas horas sin fatiga ni calor. Le saca todo el partido a CDs y vinilos pero también a Spotify que escuchó por el ampli con blutooth, aunque hay diferencias entre las tres fuentes. Lo mejor, el equilibrio entre frecuencias.

So glad I bought these, they were a treat and wondered if I should spend the money. Worth the price and value for money.
The fit is very comfortable, does have not excessive clamp and light weight. I forget I have them on sometimes and even that they have a cable.
Sound wise they sound pretty neutral to me, but I’m not an expert. You can hear more detail in the mix and instruments. Sound stage is not impressive but not bad either. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4s and although they are fairly easy to listen to they are far to bassy the point of being harsh and sound muddy, if you have been listening to these. Better frequency-wise, and more comfortable than a pair of oldish Grado SR225s.
Yes they are open, yes there are other more practical headphones with noise cancelling and wireless features, and apps etc. But these are old school, no fuss and make you appreciate the music again.. easy to understand why they are fan favourites. Always surprised when I put them on.
Only gripe is that the cable catches my nose and mouth when taking them off in a hurry. Theyre a bit underpowered on my iPhone, so you’ll need a dac or amp of some sorts. Works perfectly well on my MacBook Pro without extra amplification.
Decent build quality, but sadly no decent case for your money.

I use many wireless Bluetooth headphones from Bose and Sony. First time I’m trying to understand the Hi-Res headphones, definitely there is a noticeable difference when I listened first time with this Sennheiser HD660S2. But this needs an Amplifier/DAC, without amp/dac it’s not good, not portable like any other wireless headphones. I’m happy I bought this headphones, it’s amazing to listen some of the Hi-Res tracks.

インピーダンスが、300Ωの特性を理解した上でDACやアンプを選ばないとこの製品の良さや納得感が
出ません。
最初、購入した時点で高インピーダンスを駆動出来る据置型のfiio k7で良いんじゃないかと考えました。
だが聴いていくうちにどうもイマイチな感じが拭えませんでした。
具体的には、低域の量感だったり空間表現でした。さらに弦楽器の倍音成分やホールトーンの残りかた。
勿論fiio K7の表現力は、普通にあってちゃんと値段の割には性能は良いと思います。
他者のHD660S2の性能を十分に出すにはそれなりの上流を整備しないと駄目との意見がありました。
私も上流を変えてDACをfiio K9AKM に変更してみました。
聴いてみて低域の圧倒的量感の違いとホールトーンのリアルさに驚きました。更にバランスケーブルを
XLR4ピンプラグに変えると音の表現力が数段上を行きました。
それなりにコストは、嵩みましたが現時点で満足いくシステムになりました。

unter anderem:
Fiiio FT1 Pro -> Konstruktion und Stabilität fragwürdig, im Tiefbass hört man tw das flappen der Membran. Sonst Planartypisch zurückhaltendere Mitten, hohe Auflösung, aber auf Grund der Qualitätsanmutung und dem Tiefbass-Problem nicht mein Fall
Ananda NANO – Planartypisch zurückhaltendere Mitten, hohe Auflösung, guter Bass, etwas zischend in den Höhen. KO Kriterium – PASSFORM (keine Swivel Funktion der Muscheln)
Arya Stealth – Planartypisch sehr zurückhaltendere Mitten, hohe Auflösung, guter Bass, etwas zischend in den Höhen. Um Dialoge besser zu hören ist eine Lautstärke erforderlich, die die Höhen extrem ermüdend macht. Die Bühne empfand ich als unnatürlich gross, das Imaging war dadurch für micht etwas erschwert. Vor allem beim Spielen. Daher auch der Retour.
HD660S2 – gute Auflösung, gutes Imaging, gute Mitten, eher kleinere Bühne, schnell und detailliert in der Abbildung (nix gegen die Planaren, die ich vorher getestet habe. In der Beziehung waren die überlegen), einzelne Instrumente oder Audiocues lassen sich gut zuordnen. Extrem bequem, sehr leicht, gut verarbeitet, auch wenn er “nur Plastik” ist. Leicht anzutreiben! Fiio K11 reicht. Man hat nicht das Gefühl auf Grund eines zu schwachen AMP etwas zu verpassen. Alles in Allem ein guter Allrounder, extrem bequem und daher gern getragen. Was nutzt der beste Klang, wenn man sich dabei nicht wohlfühlen kann? Und hier punktet Sennheiser mit allen 3 KH, welche ich von Ihnen besitze (660S2, 620S und Momentum 4) Alle 3 sehr bequem, und werden gern getragen.

I upgraded from bunch of headphones like the HD650 and the DT990 edition.
The headphones build quality is good despite being lightweight, the earcups are bigger and puts less strain on someone like me who needs reading glasses.
The sound is neutral type. Which means it’s very good at mids if you have a neutral sounding DAC. Yes a DAC is needed since except my macbook M2 max not other device can drive it that good.
The last thing is that these double as a very good gaming headset. Wish there was an option for a cable with a strap on mic like vmoda or my beyerdynamic for gaming. It’s a missed opportunity I guess. Def justifies it’s price.

Extremely good sound quality, I have airpods pro 2, sony 1000xm5 headphones , a hyperx one .. and in pure sound clarity and quality terms , this beats all. But no ANC mode is probably the only con.

I’m not a proper audiophile, I was using the sony 1000xm3s before this which I was really happy with. But this Sennheiser is on a different level in every aspect except outright bass. I’m Starting to understand why audiophiles spend so much money on their audio.

Amazing detail in sound. The HD820 headphones are very comfortable with moderately good sound isolation. The headphones originally had an issue with the right side driver emitting soft rattle with heavy bass frequencies. Contacted Sennheiser (Sonova India) and got a replacement under warranty. The experience with Sennheiser Service (Sonova India) was seamless. Everyone along the chain were prompt in responding & updated me on the status. The Rep assisted me by guiding me on how to send them to the service centre in Delhi. Everything went seamless. With this service experience with Sennheiser India, i now have more confidence in buying more Sennheiser products. I constantly keep track for deals on Sennheiser Headphones. Started my Audiophile Journey with Sennheiser MXW1 (World’s 1st Wireless Earbuds) in 2008 and bought several Sennheiser Headphones all over the world since. No matter what country i was in i was able to find Sennheiser products easily compared to any other brand. The journey continues.
