These arrived shortly, and were very cool to open. These headphones are nice, they sound good, can be LOUD, the bass doesn’t seem super powerful, but its there, it just fits my ears, if you have big ears I wouldn’t personally recommend these, but for me they fit just as is! had no problems so far and looking forward to upgrading to a better sennheiser product later on!

A very good sound quality, and what’s important to me, it gives loud sound so I can work even with lower volume level therefore I can recommend this Sennheiser’s model in 100%, great price/quality indicator.

Good product , sound quality is good for the price and mic works great. Using for office calls. It’s pretty light to use and is not bulky. EarPads are comfy for long use. Only thing personally didn’t like was the rotate to secure wire in the headphone , that part could be loose sometime while using and sound goes off. Will see how it works after few months of use. Wire is long enough. Sound is pretty clear.

I needed something for daily basis which had mic, I love music and I play games as well sometimes, This headset does it all, I have tested this on a desktop computer.

-Sound quality , 5/5
-Comfort 4.5/5 , no pain nothing, I wear this all time i’m on pc and most of times I’m on pc, long hours.
-Gaming 5/5 , Have tested with pubg PC (not lite nor mobile , the original pubg pc from steam) , works beautifully with realtek audio console, I can hear footsteps, everything in detail perfectly fine.
-18 ohm impedance, means these can work on almost any device you want 5/5
-Detachable cable
-Has mic mic is okay quality as well not bad.
-Portable and earcups could be folded.
Bad
-Smaller form factor, not an issue at all for me but if you have large ears it can be an issue for you.
-Short cable
-If you want to use on pc you need a splitter , I have ordered mine from amazon.
This headset could be improved for home users like me, if there was a version with bigger form factor with long cable, more comfort and a splitter for pc.
Overall 4.5/5, pretty satisfied with the purchase.

I have been using these for 15 days now and the headphones are mind-blowingly comfortable, I am 16 and there is enough room for my ears to grow a bit more and still fit in great. I use these for 6-10 hours a day and only after 3-4 hours of wearing continuously do I feel slight pain at the bottom of my earlobe which goes away in a few minutes of removing these.

The cable is flat and of decent length to provide some mobility near your device. I have been using these for making school calls and talking to friends and the microphone is great as well. You might want to increase microphone sound amplification in your PC.

If you love BASS more than the clarity and quality of sound, these are not for you. These have exactly refined bass and you can hear all the different instruments in perfect harmony.

I play games a bit and the footstep sound is accurate, you can easily find the person and kill him based on the surround sound. These are so comfortable and the noise isolation is so good that i wear these even when i am not using any audio.

For this price, you get awesome materials, insane sound, detachable cable with a carry pouch, and a year or two of warranty.

Herkese merhaba. Kulaklık, Sennheiser’ın giriş seviye modellerinden olmasına rağmen çok beğeniyorum. Yaklaşık 2 aylık kullanımım ardından sizlere sevdiğim ve sevmediğim yanlarını aktarmak isterim.
-HD400S’i bankkart 50 liralık puan iadesi ve amazon indirimi ile 350 liraya aldım.
-Kulağınız çok büyük değilse pedler kulağınızı tamamen sarıyor ve uzun kullanımda herhangi bir ağrı yaratmıyor. (4-5 saat kesintisiz deneyimlerimde bu şekilde.)
-Jack’ı çıkabiliyor, kulaklık katlanabiliyor ve kulaklığı taşımak üzere kutudan bir bez çıkıyor. (Bez çok kaliteli değil, yine de idare eder.)
-Combo Jack (Mikrofon ve Kulaklık birlikte olan cihazlarda sorunsuz ses ve mikrofon kullanımı sağlıyor. (Bilgisayar kasasında kullanacaksanız ekstra kablo almanız lazım. Kutudan dönüştürücü kablo çıkmıyor.)
-Kablosu çok uzun ve kablo üzerinde mikrofon var. Oyuncu kulaklığı olmasa da mikrofonun sesi karşı tarafa gerçekten çok net gidiyor. Sesli konuşurken “Bu kulaklık neymiş? Mikrofon çok iyiymiş…” gibi yorumlar çok aldım.
-Malum yaz aylarındayız ve bu kulaklık deri ped olarak geldiği için terleme yapıyor fakat bu durum ortama ve kullanıcıya bağlı diye düşünüyorum. Oda sıcaklığı 30-32 derece olan bir yerde normal seviyede bir ıslaklık yaşıyorum.
-Pedler, sanırım çek-çıkar-yenisini tak şeklinde değil. Ped değişimi için servise gitmesi gerekebilir.
-Ses profiline geldiğimizde, Bass severleri son derece tatmin edecektir. Tabii tiz ve midler bass kadar başarılı değil lakin hemen hemen her tarz müzik dinleyicisi olarak “Nereden aldım seni!” gibi bir pişmanlığım olmadı. Giriş seviyesi bir kulaklık için pedler ve kafa bandı oldukça rahat, tatmin eden bir ses profiline sahip ve mikrofonunun olup da, bu kadar net ses vermesi de çok iyi gerçekten.
-Yukarıda da bahsettiğim üzere kutu içinden dönüştürücü adaptör çıksaydı ve kulaklık taşıma pedi biraz daha kaliteli olsaydı fevkaladenin fevkinde bir ürün olurdu…
Garanti, kutu durumu ve kargo süresi hakkında da yazmak istiyorum. Ben kulaklığımı amazon’un kendisinden aldım ve yanlış hatırlamıyorsam Saat 22 gibi sipariş vermeme rağmen siparişi verdiğim saatten itibaren 30-35 içinde kargo elime ulaştı, kargo firması UPS’ti. Kulaklık tamamen orijinal, bircom etiketleri ve sennheiser orijinallik kontrol qr okuma barkodu var.
Özet olarak, kulaklığın rahatlığı, kablosunun uzun olması ve bunun yanında mikrofonu olması,(mikrofonunu aktif şekilde sesli sohbetlerimde kullanıyorum ve memnunum.) rakiplerine göre çok uzun bir kabloya sahip olması, bass severler için çok iyi olması, bircom garantisi ve sennheiser kalitesinden dolayı çok çok memnunum. Umarım yazdığım yorum alacaklara yardımcı olur.

As a normal pair of headphones you would use daily- it’s fine.. the audio quality is decent- might lack bass for some of you bass heads- if you are a bass head then please don’t buy hd400s. Whereas for the audiophile bunch.I’m pretty much an audiophile myself.
So this is my review:
* Build quality*
– is fairly good for the price. It feels sturdy- plastics feel nice. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. The cable feels a bit flimsy. Extra points for using matte finish plastics
*Sound quality*
– Disclaimer: Before using your headphones. Be it any headphones. Burn your headphones for atleast 3-4 hours minimum. Advisable burning would be of 10 hours. Burning headphones is basically, playing pink noise/static noise on max volume, so the magnetic drivers will operate smoother. Hence improving the sound quality.
* You won’t be needing a DAC as per say. As it’s only 18 ohms- soo even your smartphone can handle it fairly easily.
/Sound quality/
The sound is good. Response times aren’t flat. But they sound flatter which is kinda a good thing. The sound stage could have been better. But I couldn’t expect good sound stage from closed back headphones. Sub bass is perfect. Mid bass is tight and spot on.. *some people may find the mid bass to be a bit lacking* Mids and vocal are perfectly balanced and placed correctly. Highs are crisp. Some times it’s almost too crisp. In some rare scenarios the highs almost supress the mid/vocals. Nothing you can’t fix with a good equaliser.
Overall, for the price it’s highly recommended.
Other options will be the audio technica M20X and samson Sr850. Audio technica will be good fit for only music production. As they will sound flat and won’t give you the enjoyment in other scenarios like gaming, movies etc.
As for the samson sr850. Those are open backs. They will sound amazing. The sound stage will be amazingly wide. But there will be no bass at all..bass will be non existent. Also you will need to fine tune them to sound decent. Too much work for me
It’s the overall good enough nature in all aspects of the Sennheiser HD400s made me to buy it. Would recommend
