Excellent sound quality. Like old hi fi systems.

Firstly, the built quality is below average and there are other earphone, such as, realms buds 2 which feels durable; however, the comfort of the EX155 is excellent better than buds 2 and jbl c100.
Sound quality – The ex155 is fairly balance; to be specific, the bass is adequate and it doesn’t blend with mids and treble; however, the midrange, I find it to be not accurate like it doesn’t have enough body and it sounds bit more thiner side. The treble, on the other hand, is not overpowering and it is more towards a smoother presentation and it has enough clarity; although, it doesn’t feel that it has enough texture to the instrument but it has a good seperation.
Compare with realme buds 2, in my opinion sony sounds better but it doesn’t sound as good as KZ EDX; although, it lack in bass but at the same it is more engaging to music. Overall ex155 is decent one and at the same price better alternative available in the market too. The one should be considered with ex155 is about equalization, you need to adjust bass, treble and mids for best possible sound.

Sound quality is really good.
I have tried CX 180 which is my all time favourite.
But, from few options remaining these days this is really good product.
Base is really good, background are audible very clearly.

Good but due to brand value its expensive.
Cable is old fashioned and prone to breaking so use cautiously.
Also at this price, volume buttons are expected which is missing.
So its a kaam chalau buy

I’m really impressed with these Sony earphones! The sound quality is absolutely fantastic—clear, crisp, and immersive. The bass is deep and punchy, giving music a rich, full feel without being overpowering.
One of the standout features for me is the noise cancellation. Even though these are earphones and not bulky headphones, they do a great job of blocking out background noise, making them perfect for commuting or working in noisy environments.
Overall, they offer great value for the price and deliver a premium listening experience. Highly recommended!

Reviewing the product as a first time purchase of sony headset.
The most important thing to know this is not a tangle free product, also the quality of the product is not the perfect. It goes as ok.
The sound quality… This is where things get intersting.. if u love to hear songs and really care about getting best overall sound close your eyes ND GET THIS. vocal perfect, mic is around 80% perfect.. IF YOU ARE A BASS LOVER DONT GET THIS.. NOT FOR BASS LOVERS.
but as I have a sony walkman.. this headset pairs perfect.. also not to forget the comfort it has is very very nice.. long sessions also don’t hurt even a bit. As of now can’t say anything for the functions of the button as I have not even used it once.
Overall a nice product frm sony

Disappointed that SONY has lowered it’s quality standards. We really don’t expect such low quality products from Sony.
Cons
Cables too thin, I have to be extremely careful to ensure I don’t snap it. cables are not tangle free, I spend few mins everyday to untangle it.
Pls do not waste your hard earned money to buy this product. I had used JBL C200 earlier for over two years and it still works fine.
Pros
Good Sound.
Mic works fine I use it for my taking my meetings and other phone calls

Great sound quality – clarity and bass.
Happy with the performance.
No noise cancelling, not needed either
Build quality is decent.
Value For Money (opinion may vary based on budget).
No volume control – but the button can be used to pause/play, switch to next track etc (refer manual).
Splitter is convenient.
Cable management.
Nice colour, feels fresh.
Durable no doubt – my previous SONY earphone lasted for 8 YEARS!
Tips –
Get 3.5 mm to USB-C type convertor for using with phones.
Please get a small cloth pouch for this otherwise lint, dust etc from your backpack sticks to it.
PROTECT YOUR EARS:
Don’t use/ keep in ears for more than one hour at a stretch.
Don’t listen on high volume.
