It’s been more than 3 months, I guess, since I ordered this. And it’s working absolutely great. Great fit. Sounds good. I wanted earphones with a volume regulator, hence I ordered this. Wire quality is also great. It has this grippy-ness that makes it durable and makes it not easily torn off. It doesn’t get coiled up a lot, and when it does, it’s easy to unpuzzle it. I also like the design of the earbuds; they’re not too small, not too large. Just perfect. It also has a magnet at the end of it, which is not very relevant, but personally, I like that. If I ask about the sound, it doesn’t have much knowledge about that, so the way I receive the sound from this is fine for me.

Before switching to the OnePlus Nord wired digital Buds, I had been using Realme wired buds for over 2.6 years, almost daily for 9-10 hours. I used them extensively and quite roughly. Despite that, they held up fairly well for a long time. However, over time, wear and tear took a toll – a crack appeared on the buds, the volume button cover became loose repeatedly, and eventually, both side speakers got damaged.
Considering this long, intense usage history, I decided to try something new and upgraded to the OnePlus Nord digital wired Buds.
So I received the OnePlus Nord Wired Digital Earphones just 5-6 hours ago, also I have used yet and tested it also and here’s my honest opinion: if you’re looking to buy a wired earphone around the ₹499 price range, trust me, this is one of the most recommended products available.
Although I noticed a slight delay in the volume button’s response on my unit (not sure if it’s specific to my piece), overall, it performs well and offers excellent value for money at this price. Any price increase beyond ₹499 wouldn’t feel justified.
Interestingly, this earphone is almost a ditto copy of the Realme Buds 2 Wired, which is priced ₹100 higher at ₹599. If your budget allows, I would strongly recommend going for the Realme Buds 2 instead.
Comparison – OnePlus Nord vs. Realme Buds 2 Wired:
Design & Build:
Both have wired controls including volume and pause buttons.
OnePlus has a better speaker design – I experienced minimal disturbance and almost no external noise interference.
However, the Realme Buds 2 comes with extra rubber ear tips and a cable binder, which are missing in the OnePlus package.
Realme also has its brand logo on the earbuds and more attractive packaging.
Sound Quality:
Realme Buds 2 has better bass, clearer sound, and more defined instrument separation.
The OnePlus is slightly weaker in these areas but still delivers decent sound quality for casual users.
Final Verdict:
Realme Buds 2 Wired: 4.8/5
OnePlus Nord Wired Digital: 4.0/5
If your budget is strictly ₹499, go ahead and buy the OnePlus – it’s worth every rupee. But if you can stretch just ₹100 more, go blindly for the Realme Buds 2 Wired – the extra features and superior sound quality make it a better overall deal.

Writing this review after using it for more than 10 days so if anything goes wrong I’ll update over here. Apparently these are Oppo MH155 earphones but it is sold as Oneplus here… maybe that’s why there aint any branding on the earphones. They got magnets so you can keep them together.
The shell is made out of some hard casing probably hard plastic which makes them surprisingly durable because it extends a bit more where the wire connects, my JBL endurance ones had rubber coverings which started peeling off after 6 months(now they look like a Frankenstein barely holding together).
Upper wires are thin but doesn’t seem like low quality ones. Lower section of the wire is braided which connects to the 3.5mm jack. A lil bit of rubber where the braided wire meets the input hard case so it prolly can suffer some snagging here and there on commutes which went horribly for my JBL ones.
So, build quality is definitely gives confidence.
Sound quality ngl I didn’t expect to be this good. The lows and highs are nicely separated and soundstage is good enough to know where the instruments are played. Mids are a bit muffled but anyways they pass. Bass is good enough to not hurt your ears when on prolonged sessions and detailed which you guessed it… were horrible in JBL. Also I don’t have to go to 60 or 70 percent on my laptop to properly hear music because the drivers are loud at 20 30 itself.
Ear tips are real nice and snug, they dont hurt my ears… I have been wearing them for long coding sessions and they do their job perfectly, so I don’t think you need extra tips but I think prev earphone extras will fit(I have a box full of them).
Mic quality is okayish, I tried it out on discord and it does its job but dont expect anything on par with bigger brands. Voice feels a bit muffled but clear enough when talking near it, I havent tried calls on commute(trains etc) so I can’t say anything abt that now. I will update.
But yeah absolutely value for money. I got this for 500rs WHAT?!

Got it for 600,for this price range (600-800) wire quality is average and mic quality is not so good, consider realme buds the old ones with cable manager. Base is comparatively low, vocals and higs are clear and crisp though

Shocked at the sound quality especially at this price. Crystal clear with tight bass, premium sounding buds, very balanced. Bloated bass lovers stay away. Mic quality is very good. Fits well inside the ears. Very lightweight. Durability feels mixed bag, since the buds are small and delicate. These are basically rebranded Oppo O fresh Buds. And Oppo is known for balanced sound quality which is evident in these buds. 5/5
