Instead of providing a new or properly fixed unit, the seller simply sent the same product back after a “standard QC check” — without a single update about the complaints I had reported.
Here are the *unresolved* problems that still persist:
1. **Battery Drain is Ridiculous**
The advertised battery backup is nowhere near what you get. The earbuds discharge rapidly even on moderate use. It’s frustrating and misleading.
2. Overheating While Charging.
The unit heats up noticeably every time it’s put on charge — not a minor warmth, but actual overheating that raises safety concerns.
3. Playback Glitch – Fast-Forwarding Automatically.
A strange bug occurs after the Airdopes fully discharge. Once reconnected, Amazon Prime Video starts fast-forwarding on its own. This happened consistently — a software or compatibility failure that ruins the experience.
Honestly, I’ve given up. I’ll consider the ₹700 spent as money lost, but it’s disappointing that boAt is circulating such poorly-tested, substandard products. It’s not just about this model — it reflects a careless attitude toward customer trust and product quality.
There are better, more reliable options at this price point.

I’ve had my boAt Airdopes Prime for about a week now, and I’m seriously impressed. As someone who uses earbuds daily, both for work calls and listening to music, I’ve tried my fair share of different brands and models. The Airdopes Prime has quickly become my new favourites.

Amazing airdopes it’s beast mode is awesome.
But battery backup is little bit low. Well everything is great in this device. Its volume is tremendous.

I used the boAt Airdopes 91 for about 9 months before I started facing issues — the earbuds stopped charging properly, which was disappointing considering the product felt a bit cheap in build quality from the start.
However, what really impressed me was boAt’s customer service. I raised a warranty claim, and they handled everything smoothly and professionally. I didn’t have to struggle or follow up endlessly — they simply replaced the product with a different model: the Airdopes 61, which is actually better in build quality and works great.
The Airdopes 91 may not have lasted as long as I expected, but boAt definitely won me over with their hassle-free service and quick response. If you’re looking for a brand that stands by its warranty, boAt is definitely reliable.

Very Bad Experience. The charging case is too small need to try 6 or more times to takeout one of the earbud. Build quality is also bad. Overall im very disappointed, and I’m planning give to my neighbor small kid as a toy ! 😂
