Tiny piece of plastic broke away that secures the latch to battery / SD card. Basically now useless.
Clearly defective. Tried to reach an amicable solution with AKASO, but they blew me off and are now ignoring my e mails.
Low end, garbage camera constructed from nasty brittle plastic. You get less than you pay for.
It makes a good match for the customer service.

Ease of use for the kids to get into videos/photos. but wifi connection to the app on the phone is rather finicky. otherwise shots are good and quality is decent. kids are enjoying the use of it.

Bought the camera for our honeymoon mostly for underwater shots in French Polynesia. Found that video mode works best and delivers a very crystal clear underwater shot. Used it along with the waterproof housing accessory and a floating handle. Very compact size and works well with the app to view and download photos and videos directly on your phone from the camera.
