I bought this item on May 2025. When tried to register for warranty, the device is already showing registered 10 months back. Warranty of only two months remaining. Though I approached Amazon and HP support, till date warranty date has not been updated.

I recently bought an HP OMEN laptop and have been quite satisfied with its performance. However, one of the main reasons I chose this model was because of the “Back to College” offer that was advertised. After making my purchase, I registered for the offer, only to receive an email from HP stating that my claim had been rejected. The reason provided was that I purchased the laptop from an unauthorized channel partner, specifically “Amazon – Appario Retail Private Ltd – Coimbatore.”
Here is the email I received from HP:

With reference to your redemption code BTYZ151429BT, we would like to inform you that we have received your claim under HP Onam Offer 2024. Unfortunately, your claim has been rejected due to the purchase being made through an unauthorized channel partner, i.e., “Amazon – Appario Retail Private Ltd – Coimbatore.” Therefore, we are unable to process your claim.

Now, I deeply regret making this purchase, as the offer was a significant factor in my decision. This experience has left me disappointed, and I would advise others to be cautious when purchasing HP products through third-party sellers.

Windows licence was already activated, with expiry in June 25.

got this as a recommendation from my friend and bought it… been using this since 3 months now and very happy with it. The thermal control is very good and the graphic is great. Battery slightly is a challenge when gaming and I usually keep it plugged in when playing.

The laptop arrived on 7th July 2024 , On 8th July around 11 AM the laptop screen display started to malfunction, the color inverted to opposite the black pixels became white and all other color as well.
With in 24 hours the product started malfunction.
The Amazon didn’t picked up after I set it for return.
They just postponed it .
It’s 1 August 2024 the refund is not even initiated, I thought at this prize the product would be a priority product but it’s not handled right , I called the customer service many times but it is of no use.
