SWAPKART Thermal Compound Paste Use in Coolers Heat Sink for CPU and Chipsets (Grey, 30 g)
₹143.00
SWAPKART Thermal Compound Paste Use in Coolers Heat Sink for CPU and Chipsets (Grey, 30 g),
- Material : ISOL 6, Heat Sink Compound. Colour : Grey, Packing Type : Injection, Weight : Approx. 30 g
- Generally used as a thermal coupling of electrical / electronic devices to heat sinks such as base or mounting studs of transistors, diodes and rectifiers
- It is used for maintaining a positive heat-sink seal that improves heat transfer from the electrical / electronic component / device to the heat sink or chassis, there by increasing the overall efficiency of the component / device
- High thermal conductivity low thermal resistance electrically non-conductive, non-curing, non-capacitive, non-corrosive bleed resistant temp resistant from -50 to 210 C
- Composed of carbon micro-particles which lead to an extremely high thermal conductivity. It guarantees that heat generated from the CPU or GPU is dissipated efficiently.

The SWAPKART Thermal Compound Paste aims to provide a solution for improving heat transfer between your CPU (or other chipsets) and the cooler heatsink. With a 30g quantity, it offers a potentially budget-friendly option, especially for users who frequently re-apply thermal paste or work on multiple systems. However, performance expectations should be tempered.
Pros:
Good Value: The 30g quantity is a significant selling point. For users who need to re-apply thermal paste regularly (e.g., overclockers, system builders), the larger quantity offers better value compared to smaller, more expensive tubes.
Ease of Application: The consistency of the paste is likely designed for easy spreading, which is important for beginners. A smooth, even application is crucial for optimal heat transfer.
General Compatibility: Being a “grey” generic thermal paste, it should be compatible with most CPU and chipset surfaces.
Sufficient for Basic Cooling: For standard, non-overclocked systems, this thermal paste should offer adequate performance to keep temperatures within acceptable limits. This is especially true for stock coolers where an extreme thermal paste isn’t necessarily required.
Reduces Air Gaps: Fills the microscopic void between the heatsink and the integrated heat spreader on the CPU
Cons:
Likely Average Thermal Conductivity: Don’t expect top-tier performance. This paste likely uses a basic formulation, so it won’t compete with high-end thermal compounds from brands like Arctic, Noctua, or Thermal Grizzly. Overclockers or users with high-TDP CPUs might want to consider a premium alternative.
Limited Information on Specifications: Typically, reputable thermal paste manufacturers provide detailed specifications like thermal conductivity (measured in W/mK). The lack of readily available specifications for SWAPKART makes it difficult to objectively assess its performance.
Potential for Pump-Out Effect (Long Term): Cheaper thermal pastes can sometimes dry out or “pump out” over time, requiring re-application sooner than higher-quality pastes. This is something to monitor.
Brand Reputation: SWAPKART might not be a well-known brand in the PC enthusiast community. This doesn’t automatically make it bad, but it does mean there’s less readily available independent testing and community feedback to rely on.
Who is this for?
Budget-conscious users: This is a good option if you’re looking for an affordable thermal paste for general use.
System builders: The 30g quantity is ideal for those who build multiple PCs.
Users with stock coolers and non-overclocked systems: If you’re not pushing your system to its limits, this paste should be sufficient.
Those who re-apply thermal paste frequently: The larger quantity makes it more economical for frequent applications.
Who is this NOT for?
Overclockers: If you’re overclocking your CPU or GPU, invest in a higher-performance thermal paste.
Users with high-TDP CPUs: High-performance CPUs generate a lot of heat, and a better thermal paste will make a noticeable difference.
Users seeking the absolute best cooling performance: This paste won’t deliver the lowest possible temperatures.
Overall:
The SWAPKART Thermal Compound Paste (Grey, 30g) is a decent option for users on a tight budget who need a basic thermal interface material for standard cooling applications. It offers good value due to the larger quantity. However, be aware that its thermal performance is likely average, and it may not be suitable for demanding workloads or overclocking. If you need the best possible cooling, consider investing in a higher-quality thermal paste from a reputable brand. Look for a product with published thermal conductivity specifications.
Recommendation:
If you are on a strict budget and don’t plan on overclocking, the SWAPKART thermal paste is an acceptable choice. However, for peace of mind and potentially better long-term performance, spending a bit more on a well-known brand is generally recommended. Just be sure to compare prices and read reviews before making a decision.

Average Temperature control Don’t expect High. Value for money.

It is good, and very easy to use ,good for old and mid range pc and laptop

Its cheap and o-k for normal office use CPUs. Not very great for high-end Laptop and Desktop CPU. Also not a very good long term thermal solution as after a few months its thermal transfer rate goes really down and you might have to do thermal replacement again. I think its better to go for a more expensive thermal paste like thermal grizzly kryonaut since its thermal conductivity is like 12.5W/mk compared to this thermal paste which has just 1.5~2.3W/mk thermal conductivity. So this one is like 5 time worst that a good thermal paste.
