Been using this mouse since 2023. Still working like new.
I was stuck with Logitech previously. However their mouse worked for only about 7-8 months before needing replacement due to double click problem.

Bought this for my son who is a frequent gamer. He loves the feel, weight and speed for online gaming. Good value and quality. He uses it a ton and it is built to last.

Excellent Linux compatibility with most buttons mappable
Feels lightweight despite higher weight on paper

Sniper button not yet mappable in Linux (as of this review)
Review:
The Razer Basilisk V3 impresses with its ergonomic design, stunning RGB lighting, and unique features, outshining competitors like the Logitech G502X.
Its ergonomics are exceptional, offering supreme comfort for palm grip users during extended use. The breathtaking RGB lighting transforms setups, adding a mesmerizing ambience that enhances the overall experience.
A standout feature is the Smart Reel, allowing automatic switching between tactical and free-spinning scroll wheel modes, absent in the G502X. The Basilisk V3 also avoids the reported cable issues of the wired G502X model.
Performance-wise, it feels remarkably lightweight and agile. The top-notch sensor allows comfortable use at up to 13,000 DPI, with smooth profile switching via the DPI button.
Linux users will appreciate the excellent compatibility. All features work flawlessly, and most buttons are mappable, including side buttons and side scroll. The only exception is the sniper button, which isn’t currently mappable in Linux, though there may be a solution yet to be discovered. This level of Linux support is impressive and suggests equally strong performance on Windows systems.
While not ideal for claw grip users, the Basilisk V3 offers a near-perfect blend of ergonomics, performance, and aesthetics for palm grip enthusiasts. Its competitive pricing compared to the G502X, combined with superior features, makes it an excellent value proposition.
Note: These impressions are based on initial usage. Long-term durability and performance will be assessed after extended use.

It is a really good mouse. Everything works great if you are on PC using wired mice is not a big problem. I was annoyed with constantly charging the wireless mouse. I use this mouse as productivity/gaming and this seems to be a good choice.
I was replacing my MX Master 2s with productivity and Razer DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed gaming mouse with this one. I still have those if want to go wireless but for PC this is better.

I recently upgraded to the Razer Basilisk V3, and I couldn’t be happier! The ergonomics are perfect, making it super comfortable for long gaming sessions. The customizable buttons are a game-changer, and the Hyperscroll wheel is insanely smooth. The RGB lighting looks incredible, and the performance is top-notch with its 26K DPI sensor.
Whether for gaming or everyday use, this mouse is responsive, precise, and feels premium. Definitely worth the price! If you’re considering an upgrade, get this mouse—you won’t regret it!

I was using this before. I guess something went wrong with its board as I had unplugged it without removing the device from windows. Other than that for its price this one is a steal. The ease with which you can change the dpi on the fly with just a press of a button is an incredible feature. No need to open a software suite to change the settings for an fps or an rpg. The scroll wheel lock button is more of a gimmick. Though having two different feel for the scroll wheel isn’t bad. There is a sniper button which reduces the dpi when you have your scope on. It does takes getting a bit used to. It isn’t a gimmick, you can actually land pretty good headshots once you master the use. All in all a good buy. Even with a good quality braided wire this isn’t very heavy. The rgb is subtle yet accentuates the sleek design of the mouse. Best part is you don’t need to have synapse installed. Once you have you settings down to your liking you can remove it. Yes it does take away the rgb customisation feature. I use signal rgb so don’t feel I am missing out on much.

The mouse came 3 days earlier than expected, which is awesome for a gamer whose previous mouse was dying and needed a new one ASAP. So, 10/10 for delivery.
As for the mouse itself, I just got it. Once I plugged it in, the software popped up without the need to look it up or download it, which is great. The software is also very detailed and customer friendly; I was amazed by the amount of options I had when configuring the buttons and the RGB. This is not my first gaming mouse, but it may be my last, as I’m already in love with it. It already seems like a great product, can’t wait to get one tapped in Valorant by a much inferior mouse user.
