Great Mouse for drag clicking, Is fairly light weight, and it’s the perfect size for my hands. If you are a minecraft player, then THIS IS the mouse for you. Buttons are nice, overall build quality and performance are also good.

this mouse has definitely impressed me with its capabilities and how good it is for its price. the RGB light is fantastic and the mouse has great build quality. overall a very good Mouse, and you shouldn’t buy a really expensive mouse because before this mouse I had a razer mamba mouse and it wasn’t worth it since it didn’t have the RGB and the build quality wasn’t as good.

My favorite mouse is Mionix Castor. None can beat that in comfort till date. My hand size is 20/10cm. Ive tried DeathAdder, Mamba, Basilisk v2, G502, Glorious O. Glorious O is definitely an awesome mouse but Castor wins by margin.
I wanted to venture out with Castor feel mouse with more buttons for RTS MMO games.
For me HyperX Raid was the answer. And from the first use i felt that is the one I was looking for. Generous ‘5 Thumb Buttons’ are perfectly placed nearby with separate feel to avoid confusion. It comes with unique Scroll click which is rare but extremely useful. With so many buttons under my command my games are such a bliss. Desktop browsing is fun. To 5 buttons Ive assigned some macros for ALT-TAB, Volume UP/Down etc. eliminating need to touch my keyboard.
Overall, this is the best MMO,RTS mouse (for me) beating the kings like G502 & Basilisk in terms of comfort, and weight. At the price HyperX sells, the sensor, weight comfort, it beats the mice that are double the price. Quality is great not exceptional, but ur not paying exceptionally high too. Buy with confidence.

pros-
1-best sensor in market RN pixart 3389 16k dpi
2-RGB (the colour are so relaxing and beautiful)
3-all rounder shape and size (average and large hand)
4- large skates no shattering lag on mouse
5-omron switchs which are easily customizable if the buttons got defect
6- brought it for only 2.8k during GREAT INDIAN FESTIVAL (original price 6k)
7- the top is a sofe plastic while the side are rubberised texture for more comfortable grip
cons-
1- weight is around 100 gram which is little too much for fps pro or competitive players
2- everytime after i turn OFF the pc and turn ON, the setting (dpi colour side buttons etc) change while logitech dont have this issue
3- been only month and now im facing auto scroll issue my secondary weapon scroll in-game
4-package is damage
5- after one month sensor is very sensitive and can move the crosshair even in mid air.. the weight and big size is starting to irritating..
6-wheel button having some issue my secondary gun roll out by it self..
7- right click and left click are now loose after almost 1 year
8- after exactly 1 year the mouse is now useless for gaming the right click not working properly
update: rgb light is now fixed.. contact Customer support they said to press scroll button and dip button at same time to reset and it work..
for more information Especially for hand size check roketjumpninja hyperx surge on YT
i really recommend to fully read reviews and the shape and size for ur hand.. if all is good then u can buy thats only when there is a sale.
i used g102 for 2 years and had to buy again 2 times because of double click issue . after switching from g102 to this hyperX surge mouse.. my little disappointment is size cause its little big for me and hard to grip sometimes but its ok..
if ur hand is small just like mine and want much better mouse than this go for coolermaster mm711. it’s cheaper ,lighter , best shape , small size and rgb.

Good product. Much better than most Logitech mouse. Specially better than g502 as well. Just cut one star cause the rubber in the sides gets sweaty in humid climate like mumbai. But at this price can’t get anything better with 2 years warranty.

I got HYPERX PULSEFIRE RAID for ₹2750 on a offer day and for this price, I think this is the best gaming mouse, it has awesome sensor, the tracking is good, the buttons are nice and clicky and donot feel cheap, it has 16k dpi and you have a dedicated dpi shift button, all the keys are customizable through software which I think is ok. The skates are huge and works fine, the cable is braided and long so no issue. The mouse side grips are rubber and the finish on mouse is matte so it’s super fine. The design of mouse fits nicely in hand, though I would’ve preferred a bit slim design, i think its a bit fat but I think it’s fine for me, my hand rests on it very well.
Ngenuity software, it is easy to found on store ok to use and gets the job done. You can customize the rgb lighting, all the keys, dpi can be set too, you can have 5 different dpi settings that are stored directly on the mouse and you donot have to have open software for that, you can set any dpi you want, also the polling rate ranges from 125 to 1000 which is nice and u don’t get this option on other softwares.
So overall, a nice gaming mouse for FPS games like CSGO and VALORANT and day to day use and a great deal, I was looking exactly for this. Thank you

Left click isn’t working in just 4 months

I have been using this mouse for over a month now. It was a new year present 😀
First off this mouse is great for fps games. Played csgo and It is very precise thanks to pixart 3389 sensor. It took some time to get used to it, but then I just fell in love with it. I had a Logitech g402 (which has a great sensor maybe better than pulsefire surge) before this mouse. It has a simple design with great RGB touch. The left, right buttons and scroll wheel feel very premium. The side buttons however are not so great. You can barely feel clicking them. The mouse cable is braided but nothing too great. Dust sticks to it very quickly.
Overall the mouse performance is great and for 2600-3000 it’s worth every penny.

this mouse looks premium, feel premium and has good sensor. it lacks in comfort, specially the hold is not comfortable. so what happened is it suddenly started going on and off frequently. after diagnosing i found out that problem lies at junction of cable and mouse, whenever the wire at juntion bend left it goes off and by keeping the wire bend to right it comes back online. it cant believe this could ever happen to this tank like build mouse. although the wire is actually thick , braided and less flexilble and has considerable drag, this extra stiffness of cable might not went in favour of the mouse. I bought this mouse for 2400 rupees, which is a good deal keeping in mind of it having px3389 sensor.

What can I say other than this is a fantastic mouse. I was a little skeptical about it because of the price, but once I tried it out I knew this is underrated and a great value. First, this mouse is beautiful and the clicks are satisfying. The Omron switches definitely help with that. Its fairly lightweight if your looking for a pure fps type mouse. Most mice with this type of sensor are going to cost much more, let alone the beauty of it helps with that value. The braided cable is solid so far and has not been in my way at all. I have large hands and sometimes I really have to be picky. This mouse is just large enough to be comfy without being too small. I enjoy the full grip of a g602, but this one is not as wide with a nice contour to it and I have no issues here. I have been playing games like Deadside and enjoying that sensor immensely. Its a fantastic buy if you can get it for under fifty bucks and at MSRP, its still worth it. I do not use this as a daily driver, I use this as a more situational mouse for fps, but it could double for anything you want. The side buttons have a fantastic feel and the scroll button has a nice feel also.
My only real gripe is the software, but since Ngenuity is in beta, this is forgivable as I am a big fan of Kingston and HyperX in general. I have faith that it will improve over time. Ngenuity has not given me any real problems and has been fairly straight forward. For once with HyperX, I feel that the build quality may not hold up forever, but I would love to see this mouse in a lightweight semi-hollow honeycomb frame, then it would have to be up there with some of the best mice available. Keep’em coming HyperX!
