I liked the precision of the Mouse a lot. Comparing to my last Wireless Mouse this one comes with negligible lag & the ergonomics is quite comfortable for me atleast.
    The side buttons are decent.

We’ve had it for a month or maybe two so far and it’s been great. We play W.O.W. in the dining room across the room from the dining table to the PC (and plug in dongle) on the floor in the corner of the room and the screen and seekers on the buffet. The distance (2-3 meters) hasn’t been an issue at all. Fast, real time response, no noticeable lag or cutting in and out. Very pleased with the mouse so far. I’d buy it again if I had my choice again.

This mouse is really good for almost all fps games as well as Minecraft, it can get upto 20 cps butterfly click and 28 cps drag click . The shape is not the best as if u are a jitter clicker this shape might be bad for u and the clicks are very light aswell overall really great mouse for this price range

    1.5 months update
This mouse is a battery sucker. Expect normal batteries to last about 2 weeks, maybe less. Everything else is ok. No issues with clicks or tracking.

    2 weeks
It is an excellent lightweight gaming mouse. It is a bit more expensive than it should be, but I bought it because the Logitech mouse had negative reviews. The clicks on this mouse are so much fun, effortless. The additional thumb buttons are useful for competitive shooters that I play.
This mouse can be configured with the ICUE software that corsair provides, and it is a decent one to use. Overall a nice 5/5

Personally only the weight is concerning but there are many mods that u can do [ see the modding of logitech g304 to know how u can reduce its weight ] ..other than that i am big fan of the mouse .. its just a entry level sensor – pixart 3325 .. not high end like 3360 or 3389 but if u are coming from low end mouse i guarantee u won’t notice a diff. .. highly recommend over logitech g304 and razer basilisk x (its main competitor for wireless category under 5k )

To preface this I have used both its competitors the G305 and the Orochi V2. It’s 4th competitor the SteelSeries rival 3 wireless is unavailable 95% of the time so I’m not even gonna include it in the discussion.

The shape is by all means a sharp downgrade of the G305, the sides and back are more angled which on a small mouse like this makes it incredibly uncomfortable to hold. You can essentially forget about palming it, even fingertip wont work. You will have to claw it in a very specific, Corsair defined manner and even then you won’t be comfy.

To its credit the wireless connection and sensor tracking are flawless and spot on. But the left click sounds different each time you press it. And the scroll wheel just stops tracking if you try scrolling though a page quickly. Both of these issues were present on both the units I received. And corsair icue is just bad, there’s no other way to put it. It’s useful if you want to manage RGB lighting perhaps but seeing as this mouse has none its absolutely useless. For some reason corsair makes it is Icue will enable pointer precision upon installation which is just completely absurd for any mouse let alone a gaming one. It also weighs wayyyy too much for a mouse that only came out last year. Orochi v2 is significantly lighter.

I bought this mouse cause I needed one urgently and nothing else was available except the G305 which does not have Bluetooth and being a Logitech mouse has extremely poor durability. I’ve since returned this mouse and bought the Orochi V2, which, despite being more expensive than this is worth every penny as it is just leagues ahead of this pile of plastic in every way.

In a bubble of Corsair mice this is not actually half bad. But it simply pales in comparison to its competition from other brands. Avoid if possible. If you don’t want Bluetooth get the G305, if you want Bluetooth get the Orochi V2 instead.

This was a thoroughly good mouse but less than one year after using it, it regularly double clicks on a single click.
Because of that and clearly poor build quality, I would not recommend.

I bought a Corsair Katar Pro Wireless recently. However, I started seeing huge battery drops. Before I changed the battery once a month, but now i have to change batteries every week or two. Yes, I am on a computer a lot, so that’s a lot of wear and tear on the battery, but the previous wireless mouse would last me up to 3 months. I use the dongle and 2.4Ghz mode. BTW I won’t mention my previous mouse’s name. Just know that it’s from a rival gaming brand with the same specs and a similar price.

Secondly, it takes a lot of time to wake up the mouse. If I am typing documents for a minute or so, the mouse goes to sleep, and I have to shake it to wake it up again. My previous wireless mouse had no issue. Instant wakeup, as if the mouse never goes to sleep.

Thirdly, the mouse pointer skips a lot.

Latest Update: My updated review as on 02 Jan 2024. A normal AA Eveready battery lasts 2 days max on this mice.
Latest Update: As on 11 Jan 2024, the mouse is officially DEAD, after 1 year 4 months of use.

Was happy about it initially until the wheel scroll started squeaking after a few weeks of my purchase. It became very annoying and I had to return it. It’s a shame because I do like it’s responsiveness and it’s capability to used Bluetooth and 2.4g wireless. The app is also very good at customisation.
