I gave it a 3 star, but in reality it is closer to 3.5 or even 4. The controller is a great pickup for this price—the build quality, though made with cheap materials, is surprisingly sturdy, and it can take a few drops or bouts of gamer rage. The external battery is a good compromise; I’d rather have swappable AAA batteries than deal with a poor inbuilt one.
The gaming performance is where this struggles. During extensive gaming sessions, the controller is unable to register multiple inputs at once. This leads to missed or repeated actions, which can make scenarios like combat or fast paced gameplay frustrating. If you’re playing retro games or something slow-paced, it might be fine — but for anything more demanding, the experience isn’t smooth.
So, do I recommend this controller? No. I do not think this a good controller for a the average gamer. I bought it to play my retro games on a retro feeling controller, but for anything modern, this is NOT a good pick up. Ideally, I’d recommend you either get a wired controller for this price range or save up more to get a better wireless controller.

I bought two controllers to play NES games on PC, it works perfectly fine, two controllers working simultaneously on same PC. Instant pairing is where I’m impressed, no lag ,no connectivity issues, just works well for my purpose.
