Conscious Chemist sunscreen has become my go-to! The texture is super smooth, absorbs quickly, and leaves no white cast at all perfect for daily use under makeup or on bare skin.
It feels very lightweight and non-greasy, yet gives strong protection with SPF 50 PA++++. I also love that it’s water-resistant and has Niacinamide & Blackberry Extract, which help brighten and calm my skin over time. My face feels soft and refreshed even after hours in the sun.
No breakouts, no stickiness just a soothing, matte finish with a healthy glow! 🌞💜

It doesn’t feels like sunscreen, but really like a skincare, infused with niacinamide and blackberry extract, super lightweight formula quickly absorbt to your skin , non greasy and it doesn’t leave any white cast on your skin.

I have completely stopped using this SPF as it has caused a lot of skin irritation for me. I was correct in figuring the cause of comedones was this SPF. Since I stopped using it my skin has been able to breathe and has been doing better. I would recommend this only to people who do not have sensitive skin and are able to handle some irritation (which mine doesn’t)

I noticed that this one badly clogged my pores and gave me so many closed comedones. I also noticed that even though I double cleanse it, I have a tough time in completely removing and still feel a layer on my skin. Will use it further and update.

My skin type- Oily combination along with Sensitivity
I really enjoyed this SPF so much, this one got me into the habit for reapplying SPF!
I really like the fragrance in this too!
Here are some pros and cons one can consider before a purchase-
Pros
1. Suitable for all skins
I bought this SPF during the peak monsoon season when my skin becomes really oily, I was skeptical at first because of how heavy it looks but this sinked into my skin pretty fast and gave a beautiful semi matte finish!
2. Texture
This sunscreen has a creamy texture which looks intimidating at first but after using one whole tube I can confirm that it’s pretty nice and isn’t as creamy as it looks and it sinks in pretty fast without leaving skin oily.
3. Water Resistant
I’m so happy the brand took feedback and re formulated its sunscreens into water resistant ones! This one surely doesn’t come of with sweat only but I haven’t tried it while swimming.
4. Fragrance
The fragrance in this product is a pro for me! I really enjoy fragrances in my skincare products because it makes me look forward to reapplying them again and this actually happened with this!
Cons
1. The brands website does not mention how long is the sunscreen water resistant for 30-40 mins or longer.
2. The tube packaging is a hassle. When the product is new it works fairly well but as soon as the amount of the product reduces, it becomes a nightmare to get product out and it splatters everywhere, as it is visible in the pic.
3. It pills a lot on me. I’ve used this sunscreen without any serum or moisturiser underneath but it still pills on me.
4. It stung my eyes once or twice, which stopped after sometime

Conscious Chemist’s purple sunscreen is amazing to apply, and after applying it, my skin feels good and glowy. The scent is also wonderful. However, one thing that disappoints me is the quantity – half of the bottle was empty, and for this amount, the price is too high.
