The pan is heavy and so whatever you make cooks very well on low to medium heat
Great for low oil cooking … like besan/moong chila, dosa, pan stir-fry, omlette, french toast etc..
The pan is quite heavy and the handle gets hot – so you will need the sleeve – wish Vinod had provided a better sleeve – like made of silicone plastic/rubber etc..
Its made of cast iron so will ruin the surface and RUST easily if you do not follow the daily use instructions in the accompanying booklet

Like: Sturdiness, heavy and a monolithic design.
Bit on a heavier side; which makes it difficult to handle while cooking. The leather handle was missing in my product, which was clearly written on the cover, that it should be along with the product.
Sine the handle gets hot while cooking and due to its heaviness, a leather handle cover is must. Kindly check the leather handle cover to be there while receiving the consignment.

You need to properly coat it in OIL every time after use for few months.

I bought this in combination with the kadai and dosa pan in an attempt to get rid of unhealthy nonstick ware and also to reduce waste due to the annual change of all nonstick vessels. The pan is very heavy and if maintained as per the instructions on the manual, it yields an almost nonstick surface that will only improve with time and use. This one is built to use for a whole lifetime and more. I couldn’t have had a more satisfactory buy, this provides a healthy medium to cook in and saves unnecessary waste and money spent on replacing nonstick ware.

Booked this cast iron pan during Amazon Prime Sale.
It took almost 27 days to get delivered, but the quality of this Vinod Cast iron pan is simply perfect… Better than what I was expecting..
Heavy, Perfectly Seasoned, Beautifully finished with no sharp edges.
And yes, got a great deal on Amazon Prime Sale!

I used the pan once on my gas cooker and it left the pan looking like this. Very concerned and I will not used it again.
