Green Gobbler DISSOLVE Liquid Hair & Grease Clog Remover / Drain Opener – 32 oz

I just went through it on amazon. It was attractive. It was very effective and clean. No harmful odor or fumes. It worked pefectly.

I bought a small two use bottle to try on my bathtub. It was pretty good so I bit the bullet and bought a large bottle. Unbelievably the day it arrive my kitchen sink started draining very slowly so I threw some more in expecting great results… 6 hours later no water was draining at all and brown “junk” was floating in the water that was backing into the sink so now I had standing water to deal with- now I was looking at having to get a plumber. before I went to bed I notice the water drained out a bit so I poured down more in and let it set over night. In the morning the water was drained out so I poured in some boiling water but only about 1/2 the water went through the pipe before it started to back up again. So I poured in some more green gobbler, went to work and tried the boiling water again when I got home 9 hours later, more drained out but still backed up. I figured I would try once more before calling in a plumber since it did seem to be doing some good so poured in about two more cups. What I noticed was that there were chips of stuff now floating in the liquid and the liquid seemed to be almost swirling a little. I left it overnight – the next morning the sink was 100% clear – in fact it has never drained this fast. I used about twice the amount they recommended, but this was a very bad clog – I am shocked it worked. I think what happened is the first attempt loosened up a lot of crap that was coating the pipes and that caused the bigger blockage, Regardless – it worked great! Much cheaper than a plumber. My only suggestion is forget the instructions and leave it sit over night or longer for a bad clog.
