Value for Money
The Portronics Beem 440 Smart LED Projector is a good value for money! At this price point, it serves its purpose well. With a 720p HD resolution, the clarity is decent—neither exceptionally great nor disappointingly bad.
Usage Experience
The inbuilt apps are adequate but not exceptional. I prefer using an HDMI cable with my laptop for better clarity and refresh rate, especially for sports and action-intensive movies. This setup serves the purpose effectively.
Audio Quality
The inbuilt speaker is below average. For an enhanced audio experience, I recommend using external speakers.
Build Quality and Room Suitability
The build quality of the Portronics Beem 440 is good, but there is a potential issue with dust entering the lens through the exhaust vents, which requires regular maintenance. Importantly, this projector performs best in dark rooms or spaces. In a well-darkened environment, it adds a great vibe to the room, especially with a good set of external speakers.
Connectivity
Unfortunately, the Bluetooth feature doesn’t connect with Bluetooth speakers, which was disappointing.
Overall, the Portronics Beem 440 Smart LED Projector offers good value and functionality, but it is best suited for use in dark rooms. Be prepared for some compromises in audio quality and Bluetooth connectivity.

Wow, the picture quality is amazing! Perfect for movie nights. Love the portability and setup was a breeze. The brightness is impressive, even in a well-lit room. It is decent st this price. Writing this review after a week of use. You will 100% need separate speakers noise quality is bad. Picture quality is also good. Quality and build seem good. Wire length is very small. You can go for it if you are not looking to spend too much this will definitely serve your purpose

Good Portable Projector, Worth the Money
I’m quite satisfied with the value for money it offers.
Pros:
Portable and compact: Very easy to carry and set up, great for watching movies at night.
Projection quality: Decent picture quality, especially in a fully dark room. It delivers a good viewing experience for casual use.
Mobile screen casting: Surprisingly smooth and reliable. Casting from my phone worked really well.
OTT apps: Streaming services run with pretty good clarity and quality.
Cons:
Remote without batteries: The remote didn’t come with batteries, which was a bit inconvenient.
File format limitations: Some video files on my USB pendrive didn’t play, so format support could be better.
If Bluetooth disconnects while watching videos, and you need to exit the video to reconnect, which is a hassle. Definitely needs a software update.
Built-in speaker: Not very loud or clear. I recommend connecting a separate Bluetooth speaker for a better experience.
Overall: If you’re looking for a budget-friendly portable projector for nighttime movie watching or casual streaming, the Beem 470 is a solid choice. Despite a few software and sound limitations, it delivers good performance for its price range.
