I had an extremely disappointing experience with this seller, and I feel compelled to share it to help others avoid the same hassle. I ordered an air conditioner (AC) expecting a brand-new, functional unit. What I received instead was a defective item that appeared to have been repackaged and passed off as new. This is not just frustrating — it’s completely unacceptable and unethical.
The AC looked fine externally when delivered, so I proceeded with the installation. It wasn’t until the unit was fully installed and turned on that I noticed something was wrong. The AC started making a strange and loud noise. Upon further inspection by the technician, it was found that the blower inside the indoor unit was broken. This is not the kind of damage that happens during transit — it was clearly a defect that had been ignored or hidden. The packaging had also shown signs of being tampered with or resealed, which I had initially overlooked, trusting that I was receiving a genuine, unused product.
What made things worse was the timing. Since the AC was fully installed before the defect was discovered, I had already paid for the installation. Now I have to go through the entire return and replacement process, not to mention the additional cost and inconvenience of uninstalling the faulty unit and reinstalling a new one — assuming I get a proper replacement at all. This is a huge waste of time, money, and energy, especially during peak summer when the AC is most needed.
This kind of experience raises serious questions about the seller’s quality control and honesty. Selling defective or used products as new is a blatant breach of trust. I expect Amazon to take strict action against such sellers, as it damages customer trust in the platform as a whole.
I strongly advise other buyers to avoid this seller. Please inspect the product thoroughly before installation, and if you suspect anything off about the packaging or unit, don’t proceed without contacting customer support. I learned this the hard way, and I hope this feedback helps others avoid the same trouble.
