Quick delivery by Amazon and installation by LG. Installation by expert technician, running smoothly. Very low noise both for indoor and outdoor unit. Only one cons is the remote, no backlight so not visible in the dark/night. Otherwise everything is fine.

I have reviewed and researched many brands. Finally found LG as the best.
My genuine review after purchasing 2 units and being used for more than month:
I have performed real time research on various brands. Considering the ownership reviews collected from my relative and friends, concluding LG as the best.
1 ton and 1.5 ton capacity ACs of all other brands available at a very low price than LG. But here comes the differentiation comparing all brands with LG:
Build Quality: Excellent build quality of indoor and outdoor units.
Power Savings: Electricity bill of Lg 1 ton AC after running 10 hrs a day for 30 days is just 900/- (Run on 60-80% efficiency)
Cooling Performance: A room of 10×10 with medium sunlight exposure can easily be cooled within 15 minutes when run on 25°C. After 15 mins you need to wear blankets to sustain from chills 😄
Airthrow: All LG ACs have 4 way swing feature, which is not available in many other brands. At fan speed F5, air throw is excellent. Covers top to bottom, left to right.
***ONLY DISADVANTAGE is Swing blades does cover the area exactly under the indoor Unit. We need to sleep at least 3 ft away from indoor unit to get feel the cooling and fan air.****
Last but not least- After Sales Service:
LG known for the professional after sales service, when other brands doesn’t meet LG in service. LG technicians are more professional than others.
*Major cons:
1. Remote doesn’t have radium or LED buttons- during night you need switch on torch to operate the remote.
2. Swing blades doesn’t cover are under AC
3. Sounds around 32 decibles – bit high.
Pros:
1. 4 way swing
2. Extra gold fin coating protects from corrosion.
3. Sleep and Timer features. You can turn on timer and sleep without any disturbance to turn off the AC during mid night.
4. Auto clean feature.
Conclusion: don’t tempt to buy cheap brands which offers at a very low price. After one year you need to spend 3x more amount on repairs. Invest one time on the right brand and stay happy for ever.
As per my research, ALL OTHER BRANDS fail in below aspecta:
1. Provide good service
2. Low cooling performance.
3. Worst build quality
4. Very less life of the product.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on looting brands.

we have been waiting for installation to happen since 5 days. The support center does not respond. LG says we have escalated. After buying product from Amazon this is the situation. Should have gone to the shop and purchased, probably should have got the installation done quickly. Very disanointed the way LG treats its customer..
AFter prolonged wait the installation was done, requested the service engineer to come with Vaccum Pump, he simply refused that he will not carry Vacuum Pump. LG clearly states on installation the Outdoor unit needs to be Vacuum Pumped. I insisted with the Service Center that I will not allow an installation. Also raised this issue with LG Support Center and finally the Service Engineer was forced to come with the vacuum pump. People who does not know how important is a vacuum pump in a split AC, please search for the same in You Tube and Internet.
The AC itself is very quiet and cools OK. Cooling however is slow compared to a non-inverter AC. My non inverter AC cools very quickly and keeps the room cool for longer time.

I bought two of this model as I needed a good one ton AC . Following is my experience regarding the few key aspects
– Installation quality – Installation is a bit costly- first one cost me 4K and the next one cost me 3.6K. Installation experience was very different for the first one and the second one . For the first one the team was experienced and quite professional. They bought proper equipments and all and did the work cleanly.The installation experience for the second was not that great , as they didn’t bring proper equipments and were not experienced like the first team. Also, they did vaccum the AC before releasing refrigerant.
– Performance- Need more time to check the performance . Outside temperature is quite low now compared to peak summer temperatures, hence need to wait for peak summer to check the performance.
– Functionality and remote control – The features of the AC like – Viraat mode etc work as intended . The remote is also good and has quite a few creature comfort features like – 7 step swing adjustment etc. Haven’t tested wifi functionality yet .
To summarise, my experience was good but little soured due to installation experience and high installation charges. One thing regarding charges is that mechanics will charge mostly as per LG rate but will include something as other charges for which they won’t give any break-up for that in the GST bill.

It is open loot. They show 1199 as charge, but you purchased from Amazon so it is 1200+GST=₹1415 and then if we are giving our own stand, still they ll charge for 230 extra as stand fitting charges….I mean that is ₹500 extra for nothing.
AC as always, just average over hyped with zero support. Better get it from local store and save yourself the trouble and loot. Amazon won’t help with anything. We need to raise installation request ourself and follow up as well.

Using for 3 months now so far no problem occurred. Cools well. Technician was very friendly and installed the AC next day itself. Overall great AC.

Everything was good and okay, installation done was also good and they were doing everything I asked to, Installation charge was same as mentioned.
AC working fine and cooling good, best for medium sized room. As I have not used it for long so, I will again update the review after using 3 to 5 months .
