Very problematic machine, not recommended to buy due to thread stuck and power of moter is not sufficient.

I don’t sew very much only because I tend to buy new if need be. But lately I’ve been tired of throwing away a pair of jeans that had a rip in them. So I bought this sewing machine. Reviews were good and took a chance.
As I’m a newbie, I’ve had to figure out how to work it. I’ve done so many mistakes that I’ve had to take the machine apart on several occasions. Mostly just winging it…kinda my background on fixing stuff…aeronautical crap..lol. So not too difficult to figure out. When the thread breaks or gets stuck, it can be a chore to fix. But hey, I’m learning as I go along. The only issue is the threader. It is very delicate and gets out of line with the needle. I’ve had to surgically try to fix it on a couple of occasions…not for the faint of heart…even for me. You’ll need some strong glasses and pretty small pair of needle nose tweezers.
Getting better for sure and do recommend.

I received used damaged products. The warranty card was scribbled and torn all over. I had to return the ideam as the replacement wasn’t available.

I’ve never used a sewing machine before buying this one and I’m really happy with it. I watched one youtube tutorial on how to set it up and once I figured that out it was extremely simple. It’s exactly what I wanted for simple projects and getting used to using a machine. I have had some issues with thread jamming or tangling but I assume that’s probably a user error lol. Overall, great machine for beginners and worth the purchase!

Look like this is the sewing machine of choice on Amazon India. Bought it as a gift for my septagenarian mom who has been an avid sewer all her life. There was a learning curve on threading the machine in the beginning, but with the help of my cousin who has the same model ( a gift from her daughter), she was up and sewing shortly. Keeps sending me her latest creations. Am happy that she is happy.
Good product. Watch out for the learning curve on the initial set up. I found a guide on YouTube to help with that.

While the machine does work smoothly, the built is rather flimsy. Not sure how long the storage compartment will last. wish they had used tougher material.

Hi guys,
I was reluctant to buy this sewing machine as I was unable to find any suitable stand. However, since I was getting it for a good deal during diwali -15,999rs I pushed myself to buy it.
The machine runs well, I found some videos on youtube and started along with it.
The color disappoints me a little but there’s only one color in this model.

I have had Singer products for years as my mother did before me, so I was anxious to get this product. There is no manual and the one piece of paper guide was not very helpful. I had a terrible time getting this to work. The front loading bobbin was not a big problem as such, but that it constantly jams is. The machine is finicky, to say the least. I actually had to go to YouTube for information since the Singer site was not as helpful as I wanted it to be. I finally had to call the local Singer repair shop for help and they told me the side loading bobbin has some known issues. I am on the 5th bobbin which is finally working and the machine sews ok. But overall I am very disappointed with this purchase. The product was close to $200 and the minimum on repair is $100. Amazon only allows 30 days for a return. I wonder why.
I’m adding on here about 1 month later. The machine seems to have worked out all its kinks-or I got better-and now works beautifully. No problem with any of the bobbins I am using and I have completed 5 projects without a hitch. I am totally converted to really liking this machine. It is what I expected from a Singer product.
