I’ve been using the same product since last year, but one day I forgot my old earbuds in my jeans pocket and accidentally washed them in the washing machine. I really loved my old earbuds, so I opened my Amazon account, checked my order history, and reordered them. Today, I received the new earbuds, but I’m not comfortable with them. After listening for just 5 minutes, I felt like they were heating up my ears. The sound quality is great, but I noticed the capacitor on the earbuds says “Made in India,” while my old ones were made in China. I ordered the same product, but I received a different one.

Product is ok. Lacks functionality and support app. No way to check battery percentage rather then on the phone bluetooth icon. Also, the size is a little bit big, you feel it when you wear a little long. And the seller is worst by sending me a tempered seal which means i received a used product with fingerprints all over the place. There no way of returning it, only options are on defective or demage product!

I have bumped the rating to 4 star, because a long term wearing comfort level (I Galaxy Buds pro 2 and I prefer these, where noise cancelation is not of high requirement), also mic is a beast, first time I found a TWS earphone with truly usable mic.
It is 2024, and the TWS earbud market has become quite competitive. I have heard of earphones that are 40% cheaper and have better sound quality. With Bluetooth 5.1 and a slightly larger driver to provide unnecessary thump, the sound quality is compromised.
The build material feels cheaper, and the hinge is clumsy and not satisfying at all, but design is made so that it is easier to pull out the earphone so that is a win, but material choice is pretty unsatisfactory.
The most surprising thing is that is has a good mic, and picks up sound flawlessly, so if you are someone who use earphones for lot of calling this would be very useful.

Wear comfort is high.
Mic is a beast, next party hear you even in windy conditions.
Build quality is not good, but not terrible either.

I’m somewhat disappointed with the Boat Earbuds Atom 81 Pro. While they excel in battery life and come with a sleek, well-designed charging case featuring a convenient light function, there are some significant drawbacks.
The sound and bass quality fall short of my expectations, lacking depth and clarity. Unfortunately, they perform similarly to ordinary earbuds, which isn’t what I anticipated given the company’s claims.
Furthermore, the design doesn’t quite fit snugly in my ears, resulting in a less-than-ideal listening experience. The voice quality suffers due to this poor fit.
However, the battery life is impressive, and the charging case is both stylish and functional.
Overall, while the Boat Earbuds Atom 81 Pro have some redeeming qualities, they don’t quite live up to the hype in terms of sound quality and design.
