Zero Star.
After buying I had to wait for a minth due to Micro SD Card Compatibility issue.
After getting Micro SD card working the camera worked for a few days with lot of Pan/Tilt issues.
After couple of nonths of trying I couldn’t get it proper due to faulty Pan/Tilt motion.
After a month it’s WiFi stopped working.
Asked support centre, they told to reset. Did reset and worked for a few days and again stopped working. (Without Wifi, it won’t work. No motion/person detection, won’t even record anything, stupid Firmware). Tried reset, Not working.
Then Service Centre asked me to send it to their place at my expense. I did it. Received a refurbished product. Worked for a month and again faulty camera stopped connecting and same wifi, Pan/tilt issue.
They asked me to again send it back to their service centre at my expense.
I have already spent half the amount of camera as Installation/Uninstallation/Courier Charges.
Taking legal opinion to sue them now. They haven’t left any option now.
Poor Support, Faulty Products.
Do not buy any TP Link products ever.

E’ la prima volta che compro un prodotto del genere, mi aveva consigliato un amico di comprare questo modello di questo marchio poichè lui ne ha acquistati quattro ed installati nella sua proprietà , quindi essendo da qualche mese che li ha li conosce bene ed infatti ho seguito il suo consiglio e devo dire che ne è valsa la pena, di seguito spiego quali sono a mio pare i suoi punti di forza :
1) ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo per le sue caratteristiche paragonandole con altri brand con stesse qualità ma di prezzo più alto;
2) facile da montare con istruzioni chiare di cui all’interno si trova tutto quello che serve;
3) software per l’utilizzo da scaricare gratuitamente molto intuitivo e con molte funzioni utili per la videosorveglianza;
4) ottima qualità delle immagini sia in modalità live che quelle registrate, molto definite e anche di notte con scarsa luce non perde definizione;
5) firmware della videocamera aggiornabile direttamente dal cellulare attraverso il sito ufficiale;
6) la versione che ho scelto è con alimentazione diretta alla corrente, questo è un mio parere, lo trovo più comodo rispetto alle versione con batterie in quanto non ha limitazioni, e ricordare di caricare la batteria quando sia scarica.
Se devo trovare due difetti sono, il cavo di uscita dalla videocamera è troppo corto, sarebbe stato utile almeno un paio di metri e la mancanza della scheda micro sd per registrare che ne è sprovvista, ma questo non è un grave problema in quanto in commercio si trovano di ottima qualità a prezzi decisamente ragionevoli.
Quindi mi sento di consigliarne l’acquisto per chi cerca un prodotto del genere, di qualità e a prezzo conveniente.

What a product by TPlink. Really outstanding quality as i am using this for more than 6 month, it takes showers and sun heat regularly but still steady and in good condition. Installation is quite easy, anyone can do it itself. Need a broadband connection modem or router and after small steps it successfully connected. The pan and tilt feature is very much handful and it functioned it so well. Audio quality is loud enough for the visitors near and their audio is also clear. For home or outdoor security it is the best outdoor camera to have.

I bought TP-Link Tapo C500 Outdoor Pan/Tilt Home Security WiFi Smart Camera in February 2024, Sold By: Appario Retail Private Ltd. My reviews are based on the continuous usage of this security camera thoroughly at my home for a year till now.
Pros.

Cons.
So far, there are no major drawbacks with this camera, just a few minor issues.
1. After prolonged live streaming, the camera may occasionally stop streaming live, although it continues recording in the background. Once you reboot the camera, the live streaming resumes.
2. Another tiny issue I’ve encountered is with the camera’s rotation. When there’s movement directly beneath it, the camera sometimes fails to fully track and rotate to follow the object as needed.
3. NO NIGHT VISION
This feature is available in C510W TP-Link 2K 3MP model, with 3 different mode; Infrared mode, full colour mode, smart mode (switch from infrared to full colour mode when detect any activity).
4. NO SPOTLIGHT
This feature is available in C510W TP-Link 2K 3MP model.
However, these are some small issues, and overall, the camera’s features are excellent.

magnifique, vraiment pas cher, de très bonne qualité, je pense le meilleur sur le marché si on se base sur le rapport qualité prix, très bonne qualité d’image, offre des abonnements pour le stockage des vidéos très abordables, la caméra est réglable à votre préférence, avec détection de personne et suivi de mouvement, des options aussi pour les bébés, possibilité de parler à travers la caméra et plein d’autres options
Sincèrement, ce produit est vraiment impeccable, c’est la deuxième caméra qu’on achète avec mon mari, on est resté choqué par la première (qui est pour intérieur) a seulement 20€ franchement c’est donné.
Juste pour faire une comparaison, mon mari avait acheté une petite caméra à 25€ (toujours sur amazon) facile a cacher mais la qualité d’image était un cauchemar, elle ne bougeait pas aucune option, donc celle là est un peu plus visible mais c la seule marque à laquelle je fais confiance.

I use it in conjuction with an existing hik-vision NVR. added as an IP camera and it shows up on hik-connect app too! Use tapo to customise settings. Clear night vision, very good movement tracking – follows subject wherever they go and good AI. no false alarms yet.
Planning to buy 5 more and upgrade existing cameras. It comes with a DC connector and adaptor – make sure you can wire it and plug it in or use a custom adaptor (it can use your exisiting power connection from old camera provided the old caemra was 12v 1A.
It is an IP camera (whether you link with old NVR or use directly via wifi) and IP camera’s have their own security risks. Try to avoid private spots for your own safety. It has a privacy function too (via tapo app) that lets you turn the camera into it’s holder so no visuals are recorded.
